That spending looks almost like a perfect slope of 1*, which just points out the ridiculousness of education spending.
*meaning that for each increment of time (x axis) spending (y axis) increased in kind. Even by government standards, that level of funding increase is absurd. Even more so when you consider that what it was supposed to AID maintained a slope of ZERO. LOL
Only in the public sector can budget increases be so ridiculously "unbound" by the results. 🤣 🤣 🤣
Think of it this way: It's as if the Federal government was the Ford Motor Company, and it decided to build the Edsel (GOVERNMENT EDUCATION SPENDING) , but even after realizing it was a flop, it just decided, to never STOP building Edsel's. It just kept building MORE of them; BECAUSE...
