I haven't had a chance to respond without researching it first. Enlighten me.I got out of the market when I retired. You didn't address my question.
I don't know much about it, but my grandparents raised chickens. A lot of the Amish where I am at now have chicken coops on wheels so it can easily be moved.Speaking of eggs....I've been thinking of getting some chicks and a coop. I've got plenty of acreage and place(s) to put it.....but I know nothing about doing it. Is it time consuming? In the dead of Winter do you have to go out everyday to feed/water (I imagine).
About the time I'd do it the price of a dozen at Krogers would be back at 99 cents. But I would do it for other reasons...could be fun, eggs would be fresh, etc.
The only interaction I've ever had with chickens was...I can remember....be at an uncle/aunt's farm in S. Ky and all us kids were running around out by the barn trying to catch chickens. Aunt was planning a big dinner of fried chicken.
Is that the best use of taxpayer dollars??? No.
Should those be cut? Yes.
But do all of those expenditures add up to anything that amounts to more than 1 second of our deficit? No.
Much ado about practically nothing.
Throwing out the baby with the bathwater.
there's a big difference between trade imbalance and tariffs charges.14.4 billion dollars, that was the trade deficit we had with Canada in January. Now tell me again who actually started the trade war.
the no one thinks trump is responsible for egg prices will play out exactly like wallstreet vs mainstreet inflation played out for biden.
A large portion of voters vote with how their pocketbook is feeling, unless he gets cost of living stuff done....
Which he's been really focused on, oh wait GULF OF AMERICA everybody ENJOY!
Gonna need to raise taxes on billionaires/corporations AND cut spending. It’s all bathwater and should be thrown out. We’re $40 trillion in debt.
Getting ready to make the same point. Thanksthere's a big difference between trade imbalance and tariffs charges.
In 2024 the population of Canada was estimated to be 40,784,365 while the population of the United States was estimated to 339,268,209 more than eight times larger than Canada.
The United States GDP was $24.8 trillion in 2021. The United States has the largest economy globally and Canada ranks 9th at US$2.015 trillion.
There will always be a trade imbalance.
The entitlements and military spending are the only places to cut. Good luck with that.
Getting ready to make the same point. Thanks
Brother, my dog, a Black Lab/Pit mix, ( almost all BL though), does the same thing. I'm in my recliner most of the time anyway so that I have better access to a heating pad, lol, like I am now, and he's been staring at me for 30 minutes. I love him to death, but he's the neediest dog I've ever seen. He's a 75 lb. lap dog, lol.My german shepherd comes into my computer room and just stares, I ask if she wants to go out, but she runs into the family room. That means get your ass in here in your recliner so she can take a nap. LOL How did she learn to control me?
wanted to save you having to log out of your account and log onto my account.Getting ready to make the same point. Thanks

nope i agree with the recovery time, and what i said waaaay back in one of my first posts on here.We are 6 weeks into Trump’s presidency that started shorty after the Biden admin committed a chicken genocide.
It takes a hen 18 weeks to get to egg laying.
By my calculations, egg prices should start to drop well before midterms.
But please, keep focusing on egg prices and putting out weird embarrassing tik tok videos.
nope i agree with the recovery time, and what i said waaaay back in one of my first posts on here.
but still gonna scream about egg prices because thats how the info space has been built out now.
just following the right wing outrage playbook
see you're getting there. So what happened to USMCA that replaced NAFTA? Did Biden tear it up along with everything else Trump did? Or did it not address tariffs completely?
i'll be sure and keep you informed as requested!Go for it. I feel the exact same way about that strategy as I did about the sams and democrats talking about how great the economy was under Bidenomics. Countless times I encouraged him to keep running with that narrative, because anyone with a brain knew how retarded it was.
So please keep sharing scripted videos from senators, tik tok videos of female Reps doing dumb dances and crowing about egg prices. I think it’s a winning strategy for you. Please keep it up.
Biden didn't even tear up the chinese tariffs, they left them on.So what happened to USMCA that replaced NAFTA? Did Biden tear it up along with everything else Trump did? Or did it not address tariffs completely?
I had the same deal. We've got a miniature Australian Shepard who would hop up in my lap in the recliner. But I got rid of that recliner (was big/wide) and got a smaller swivel/rocker recliner....and he doesn't get up here anymore. Guess he figures there's not as much room and too cramped for his liking....lol.Brother, my dog, a Black Lab/Pit mix, ( almost all BL though), does the same thing. I had him neutered yesterday, along with getting his updated rabies shot, so he's been even needier since I picked him up at the vets. He's got several nice comfy places for him to chill, but he loves to lay with me in my recliner. I give in to him a lot because he's such a terrific dog.
He was brought in with his mother and other siblings to the shelter, who were just being weaned. He was the last one left when I came along and took him to his forever home at the age of 13 months, iirc. I guess that would have to be tough to watch your whole family leave one at a time and then be all alone, even for a little dog. And in a shelter. I tend to spoil him, but hell, that's what pets are for.
they got some really fancy ones that are solar powerd and move them selves slowly as well.I don't know much about it, but my grandparents raised chickens. A lot of the Amish where I am at now have chicken coops on wheels so it can easily be moved.
thats the commercial daddy soros should make for the dems.I haven't had a chance to respond without researching it first. Enlighten me.
All I know is that the Big 3 auto makers had to go meet with the dufus King over tariffs.
My buddy that was a Trump voter and builds houses is royally pissed because of volatile building/lumber costs. He can't even F'ing figure out how much to charge someone to build a house right now!
One of my family members can't sleep because she's so worried about whether she will have a job next month or not.
Multiply those examples across millions of Americans. You think they are making big purchases, investments or hiring right now??
Our economy is gonna crash and Wall Street knows it. That's why stocks are tanking.
Trump is an epic failure.
Yeah, with the artillery it was a box of grid squares, a bucket of quadrant bubbles, a TR Double E-10 etc... There were more but that last one, a TR Double E-10 was used on me after they had gotten me with the bucket quadrant bubbles. Our motor pool which was located at the back end of Fliegerhorst Kaserne in Hanau Germany was just short of a tree line so, when they ask me to go get a TR Double E-10, I went out into the trees to the 10th one in and sat down and relaxed. After a couple of hours, they found me and my chief with a smirk on his face said; "Ok, you caught on, so you get to do the next new guy". I was good with it though, gave me some slack time.Speaking of MIg's and such, I ran across this photo of the FLR-9 antenna that we used at Field Station Augsburg when I worked there.
It was a right of passage to send newbs out to the 'elephant cage' to pick up trash, or check the stanchion "alignment" (all the way around) with the "stanchion alignment tool" (a sawed off broom stick, sprayed with silver paint) It would take them HOURS. That antenna was as big as a soccer stadium. 🤣 🤣 🤣

He was, and the dog just dumped him out when it was time.it takes some heavy duty rationalization to frame, in your mind, those bloated, inefficient, and wasteful programs as "the American institutions that have made us the envy of the world since WW2"
It's like you were created in a lab or something.
My grandparents and aunt raised chickens. I always wore shoes when I played in their backyards. Hated stepping on chicken heads with my bare feet.I don't know much about it, but my grandparents raised chickens. Kamala 2.0 She won't go anywhere because after a few years of sucking up to the big ones, she will be cackling too. Boxes upon boxes of cheap wine will do that to a girl. These people are beyond help man.

Heres the facts on trade imbalance.
The U.S. gets more than half of its crude oil from Canada, and many U.S. refineries are reliant on that product. Canadian crude oil exports to the U.S. reached a new record of 4.3 million barrels per day last summer.
An analysis from TD Economics last week, using U.S. Census Bureau data, showed the U.S.-Canada energy trade deficit largely mirrors how the overall trade deficit evolved since 2000.
In fact, when those oil exports are removed from the equation, the U.S. actually has a trade surplus with Canada, according to economic data. In 2023, that surplus was more than US$30 billion, the TD analysis showed.

U.S.-Canada trade deficit is highest in 20 years. Does it justify tariffs? - National | Globalnews.ca
Canada typically sells more goods and services to the United States than it buys, an issue — or non-issue, according to economists — that dates back decades.globalnews.ca

I believe more and more people are going to start raising their own. I live in a decent neighborhood where each house sits on 1 acre of land. Gives us pretty good space. About 2/3rds of the houses have privacy fences so some have started raising chickens in their back yards. It used to be a couple of houses but, this past year or so about 3 or 4 more have joined in. I have been walking my monster (a 144lb Anatolian Shepherd/Pyrenees mix) around the neighborhood daily for over 3 years now and have noticed the increase of people doing it. Can't blame them. One of them on the street behind me has turkeys too. That's kind of what I've been thinking. Around where we live there a ton of farms, etc that sell fresh eggs so I could easily go that route.
Meanwhile, Canadian leftists like to link arms with European and American leftists about “our democracy” and “the world order”.
America, MANY apes, MANY Bananaslol what. This makes no sense.
The wife rescues lots of cats and dogs. We have lost a cat and a dog to vax related cancers. We spent several thousand dollars on one cat, taking him to a cancer specialist in the Nashville area. There is a link to cancer with the rabies shots. You might want to research it.Brother, my dog, a Black Lab/Pit mix, ( almost all BL though), does the same thing. Canada, LESS apes, LESS Bananas
Trade Bananas equally- HARD for Monkeys
You think we'll fight a conventional war with China? Nukes will fly, son. What point are you trying to make?
Are you saying i support china?
The point was if we're willing to go to war with China over trade, we're gonna need allies.
And we've done a helluva job isolating ourselves from our longest fighting buddies in Europe.
