I just deleted that post, I started dry heaving just thinking about it
I can remember when flying was actually an enjoyable venture. People nicely dressed....decent (not great except for Braniff) food....pleasant people (mostly upper middle to upper class). Times have changed. Atlanta airport.......
I oppose Massie for Senate. Guess that makes me a Jew (Would be good, but no such luck.) and/or controlled by China.
Well, thank the lord for that. They got one thing right.
You’re right, that was outstanding. It is unfathomable that any Democrat who claims to love the people can be against DOGE and Musk. Even before I read that just now, I have been aware for some time that this Trump term is probably the last chance for the people to regain at least some control of the state. This is great...posted about half of it:
"I'm concerned that many people do not understand the historical and institutional context in which the DOGE labor reforms are unfolding. They look at this as if these are some random, chaotic, arbitrary, strange, and even cruel measures to impose on a devoted civil service....
Get this: no one has ever known what to do about it. Not Coolidge, not Hoover, not Nixon, not Reagan, not Clinton, no one. No president has been able to crack this nut...countless cabinet secretaries have come and gone, always with the intention of making a change but leaving saddened, demoralized, outwitted, outgunned, and ultimately devoured.
No president has seriously taken on this problem because they simply did not know how. The unions are powerful, the intimidation from the deep institutional knowledge is overwhelming, the fear of the media as been powerful, and every single president comes to power vaguely feeling threatened by the intelligence agencies....
Voting never made any difference because the politicians no longer controlled the system. The bureaucracies ruled all.
The Biden years underscored the point. We didn't even need a conscious and present executive. We only needed a figurehead to pretend to be president, just like the Soviet premiers in the old days. The institutions ran everything and the people controlled nothing.
Four years have gone by and Trump is back again, this time with a determination to slay this beast, one that he knows all-to-well. The efforts of DOGE and MAHA and MAGA are epic in scope, breaking a century of pathetic acquiescence toward the deep, middle, and shallow states, at last using moral courage to confront the problem head on, come what may.
They are profoundly aware that they MUST act fast and with some degree of ferocity, even recklessness, else we will default back to the status quo of leaders who pretend to be in charge while the embedded system runs things behind the scenes.
They simply must succeed. There might never be another chance. The way of failure is the path everyone knows the US was on, toward economic stagnation, political sclerosis, and eventual irrelevance in the unfolding of the next stage of social evolution."
Not surprised. Every Republican with half a brain right now is very unhappy with Trump's decisions on pardoning criminals, tariffs, sloppy AZZ DOGE and Ukraine. Half is better than none.Abso****inglutely I did.
Yep....the sleepwear/lounge pants just got out of bed look from many on planes these days is disgusting, and their attitudes are reflective of this.

Midterms will be a historic beating if he doesn't get his sh*" together.
Do something!!

Why Your Groceries Are Still So Expensive
Inflation may be leveling off but high food prices are here to stay. Companies have raked in huge profits while selling less food. But it doesn't have to be this way.www.forbes.com

Trump sucks worse this time than last!!!
My parents are near that same age and are just as ignorant (and God knows I love them). It bothers me a lot that they’re so unaware. I’ve come to the conclusion that people of that age have two huge limitations: they grew up on Hunley and Cronkite and it is inconceivable to them that the nightly news (where they still get their news) could be full of lies and liars; and they are of an age where they either saw their parents go through the Depression, or heard their parents relate to them that it was the New Deal (the “government”) that saved them from the Depression. In their mind, “government” is a savior, not the enemy. That sounds like my MIL (80)
Yesterday she tried to convince me that the vast majority of Federal government workers vote Republican. LOL
I'd throw Crowder in that mix as well. Guy is funny as hell (like Gutfeld).Megyn Kelly
Rubin
Bongino
Clay & Buck (R.I.P Rush)
Will Cain ( getting really good)
Shapiro
Et al
Thanks
A lot of folks have to be sweating right now with both Kash and Bongino being at the highest level of the FBI now. Bongino gets to bypass Senate confirmation and will assuredly be a major part of the assassination investigations amongst other things. Tells me Trump is still really pissed off about it and knew he needed someone like Dan to come in and turn over the rocks.
I have to provide a detailed monthly spreadsheet to my boss that shows what I have done. My boss hates being a micromanager but its a product of a small group of folks who are not doing their jobs and I guess HR said this is a way to put some pressure on these folks to give the ammo needed to fire them. Maybe I should sue my company now. Sure that would go over real well for my career aspirations.....Suing over submitting a progress report. LOL
Anyone that has a problem with doing that should have been fired YEARS ago.
They quite literally have no idea how life outside of their DC womb works.
Has anyone on here never had to account for their time at work? Anyone?
I'm being totally serious. I have a ton of Republican friends that voted for Trump (Kentucky friends/family). I have a family member that is an elected Republican in KY.All the “republicans you know” are just being agreeable so you’ll take your change cup and move on to the next person.
Fat dudes with beards, tattoos and t-shirts. DisgustingThe golden age of commercial flying was summer/fall of 2020. Things will never be better. Riff raff stayed home. Free drinks. No mask if you had a drink. Mostly empty planes.
You are probably right with a lot of people, but my mom is 97 and conservative ((as is my sister and me). Dad was a WW2 vet, had to quit school in the third grade to work the family farm in the depression and was also conservative. I am 77 and conservative. They want someone who is a puppet for Israel and does the bidding of Jewish interest. You should follow AIPAC tracker on X to see how many politicians they own. What has Massie done to Jewish groups that they want to prevent him from becoming senator? I'm not really up on what such groups have been doing the last 10 years and how Massie has harmed them. Most of the Jewish groups I know are liberal rather than conservative, so they don't really need another reason, but like you I don't get how they have so much influence in our govt affairs.
I understand the Catholic influence, as there are a ton of Catholics in this country and a lot of govt employees that are Catholics, but I thought the Jewish population was still relatively small by comparison.

A post shared on Facebook claims the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals purportedly ruled that 84 of former President Joe Biden’s last-minute pardons are “unconstitutional.”Wow if this is true....

Who is holding non-Jews back from starting hedge funds and movie studios? They want someone who is a puppet for Israel and does the bidding of Jewish interest. You should follow AIPAC tracker on X to see how many politicians they own.
"I understand the Catholic influence, as there are a ton of Catholics in this country and a lot of govt employees that are Catholics, but I thought the Jewish population was still relatively small by comparison."
They're like 2% of the country yet make up seven of the eight Ivy League Presidents and 20-25% of the student body in at least half of those schools, run all three major record labels, the majority of Hollywood studio ownership, the overwhelming majority of hedge funds and the major banks, the entire executive team of Blackrock, over half of the donations from 2020 election was by this group (both parties). There's so much.
I'm sure this type of noticing gets you banned but it's so clear to see who runs things and how tribal this group is. When it comes to Israel, so many on the right have been completely brainwashed to support this group and think its the Israel of the Bible.

And just like that, " to hell with climate change," right lefties? 😏![]()
😂
These people are delusional.
You think all of this is simply because 2% just worked harder than everyone else and that’s why they’re overrepresented in every single thing astronomically? 🥴Who is holding non-Jews back from starting hedge funds and movie studios?
Strange they didn't ask about muh eggs here. (Shrug)Trumph.... DOGE sh**.... MuskRat....

Gonna be real funny when everyone but the US is helping to rebuild Ukraine and we are isolated with Russia as a world POS.
The public sector isn't used to having to justify its existence and produce results like the private sector.Aside from weeding out undesirables, productivity reports are useful when it comes time for department heads/managers to justify annual budgets etc. It's not always punitive.

A post shared on Facebook claims the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals purportedly ruled that 84 of former President Joe Biden’s last-minute pardons are “unconstitutional.”
Verdict: False
The claim is false and originally stems from a Feb. 13 post shared on Facebook by a satirical page. A spokesperson for the Court denied the claim to Check Your Fact via email.'
Comparing physical meritocracy to this is apples to oranges. It is not remotely possible to be this overrepresented in non physical roles simply on merit. It's not possible. It's straight tribalism just like it's not a coincidence that Indians hire other Indians once they're in positions of leadership/control. Yeah, just totally normal that 2% dictates your banking, your media, your politics, your foreign policy, pharma, etc.Heisman, is there a conspiracy to amongst black people where they dominate the pro athlete market? Or are they just good at that sort of shit? Ashkenazi Jews- as the averages go - have really high IQs. You need to be smart to run movie studios and hedge funds. It's not some sort of conspiracy where they are all in cahoots.
AIPAC is a slightly different story. You have some pretty powerful Jewish people who are REALLY into Israel and its interactions with the US. Many Jews don't like AIPAC. Saying it "the Jews" fault here is lumps the Jewish people who aren't into that with AIPAC. Not good.
