ya'll are literally being gaslit, lol

Imagine if you made $100k/year and had $140k in debt. Both you and your spouse decide to start paying down your debt and you come in bragging that you saved a few dollars. She would literally laugh in your face and rightfully so.

It would literally be a waste of both you and her time to scour your finances for a dollar here and a dollar there.

You need to look at your highest expenses and go from there.
FALSE

In personal finance, you need quick wins. It is psychologically motivating and gets individuals to find more ... increasing your snowball, or the size of your shovel. You clearly don't know shit about Dave Ramsey. As someone else said, look up the debt snowball. DA.

AAANNNDD. If these are such small potatoes, then why are you so against it?

Kind of like how “no one is committing voter fraud” but he’s against voter ID😂 So if it’s not happening then why are you so against it?

Just like “no one is mutilating kids” but then freaks out at someone stopping what’s apparently not happening.

no you'd do it over time but small amounts are not going to do anything. If I owed 140k me cutting a few pennies or dollars isn't going to anything at all. It's just a waste of resources.

Yeah, that's the Dave Ramsey method and even he would say it's a waste of resources to focus on a few dollars when you can focus on cutting bigger expenses. Like say you had 1000 $2 expenses for a total of $2,000 in debt, versus a handful of $500 dollar debts for $2,500. The latter is 25% more money erased through 200x less work. That's efficiency.

Some things shouldn't be cut though, like USAID. The amount of soft power that org gives us for only a 40b/year investment. With us gutting that, China can just swoop in and get that soft power we just had.

I mean do you see what's going on atm. Employees are blocked from going into the USAID building. They received emails saying to not come to work. Musk and a bunch of 19 to 24 year old's are doing who knows what and we're letting them get away with it.
You obviously don't listen to Dave Ramsey. His whole program is structured around the snowball method. Attack your debts smallest to largest, regardless of the interest rates. Put all you can towards the smallest debt first, while paying minimums on the others. then when that debt is gone, take that money you don't have to pay towards that one and focus on the next smallest debt. Focusing on the higher interest debts or bigger debts first can be defeating. When you start with the smallest and work your way up, you are able to celebrate the small victories quicker and build momentum. Saying that you found a way to save a little bit when you are in a big amount of debt is stupid. Every little bit helps.

I absolutely believe it was intentional and said as such from the beginning. All of these countries magically in unison on this, all same type of people benefitted from it (globalist big government tyrants). The timing of it. Fauci/China gotta get this done by 2019.

Too coordinated.

Remember in V for Vendetta, the totalitarian government intentionally releases a bio weapon and presents itself as a savior by providing a cure? It’s like these psychos watched that movie and was like “Genius!”
This is my favorite movie of all time (narrowly beating Shawshank).

I’ve long thought that sometime in my life we’d unify like this and uproot the corruption in DC.

i like Ramsey but very rarely listen. My son who lives in Nashville actually knows him...not good buds but knows him.

I'd rather take my way of finances. Debt free...no mortgage, car payments, etc which includes multiple properties. Anything put on a credit card, etc...pay in full when the bill comes in. Large ticket item (if possible) pay cash.
No telling how much in interest, etc we've saved over the years......in addition to not having the worry/burden hanging over your head of a lot of debt.

One benefit of the Trump admin running so fast to dismantle the federal government, is it’s going to give them some cover to strong arm some of the R holdouts on tax reform.

The budget reconciliation process needs to be budget neutral, but they can fudge the numbers. Most importantly, agreeing an extension of TCJA is the baseline, rather than a cost that needs to be offset.

Hoping the more money Trump and Elon can save now, the more willing R “deficit hawks” will be to agree to the necessary scoring.

It bothers me to no end to owe anything, especially money. If I can't pay for it, I don't need it. If I want it bad enough, I will save for it. Been that way all my life.

Can you all imagine what an actual audit of elections in blue states would show?
Why stop there? Let’s audit every department and find out where the money is going.
What's the cutoff amount between what's a significant and insignificant waste of our taxpayer dollars?
My belief was always “will it actually be a fruitful endeavor “. Well, I think it’s proven that so far, but I cannot imagine how tedious it is to look at as I imagined itemized list from USaid among other places.

The democrat contingent that cries “republicans only care about the deficit when dems are in office” are going to be really quiet for the next couple of years.

Another thought this morning, if the grift was so easy and obvious in Washington, and anyone who was politically connected could set up an NGO and collect taxpayer money, it kind of makes the Biden crime syndicate working for Ukraine and China looks even more treasonous. At least some of these NGOs were just stealing from taxpayers, not working on behalf of foreign governments (though I’m sure many were).
Sounds like a lot of it was used to push and further the WEF/UN agenda.

I agree. A full audit of government is a necessity.

We deserve to keep our money and to not have a 37 trillion debt threatening our children’s future. It requires a lot of courage to say enough is enough.

If this is project 2025, well then I’m glad you dumbasses were finally right for the first time ever. This is great so far.
Ha! Exactly, if this is what they have been crying about for that past year, hell yeah!

From Axios article:

About 20,000 federal workers have accepted the "buyout" offer put forward by the Trump administration last week, a senior administration official tells Axios. Why it matters: It's a significant number of people — about 1% of the federal workforce — but still substantially less than the White House's target of 5% to 10%.

  • The offer is open through Thursday, meaning the total could rise, despite heavy opposition from unions and others.
What they're saying: "We expect more to come. If you see what's happening at USAID, it's just one piece of the puzzle," the official said, referring to the rapid restructuring of the federal agency that oversees foreign aid programs.

  • Aside from the pace of resignations, the official said, the administration is still trying to implement a hiring freeze.

Catch up quick: The buyout offer entitles federal employees to stop working more or less immediately and continue to be paid through Sept. 30.

Those numbers should rise after more are forced back to work in person:

We all absolutely voted to gut the government.

Not that we don't see the left's lies and hypocrisy on the daily but to watch them lecture everyone about "no one is above the law" and talk about Trump's businesses and how January 6 is like 9/11, these people have nothing to say about BLM/Antifa -DNC funded anarchy, nothing to say about Biden's shell corps, nothing to say about the money laundering and corruption from the left. Nothing about Americans being raped or killed. We can't even get them on board with that these people should be deported.

DEMOCRATS WANTED TRUMP'S TAX RETURNS FOR FOREVER BUT ARE FREAKING OUT ABOUT AN AUDIT OF THE GOVERNMENT USING OUR OWN F'G MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You cannot reason with these commie idiots.

This situation also illustrates my fears for Britain and France. If an anti- Islamic government takes hold in either place and begins to take common sense action (forbidding Sharia, kicking them off welfare, shutting down radical mosques and clerics) Muslims will flood the streets and riot, forcing action. At that point, I don’t believe anyone will have the balls to arrest and deport them for rioting. That will be the white flag in Europe.

Luckily Kamala didn't win or this is where we'd be in 2 or 3 years. we have a chance to get back to good but Europe is going to have to go through a legit civil war to clean out the trash at this point. too many foreigners with too many guns and explosives and networks to people who can get them more stuff. Hell, I saw where muslims were using Ukrainian long range drones to fly drugs from Africa to Spain... they can put AK's and RPG's in those just as easily.

I propose a compromise

We deport all of the migrants but we send them to Israel to enrich them with diversity which will help Palestine.

We will also throw Luka Doncic in there.
