Biden and Harris could have done the same thing. They chose not to, because they did not want to help these Americans. Instead, they chose illegals and sham trials over these Americans.
And posters like simple sam supported Harris and indirectly supported putting these Americans literally out in the cold while letting criminal gangs take over apartment complexes.

Absolutely no way anything other than the defendant's conduct should've been shown unless they were charged on conspiracy. If they insisted, then the other option would be to show every second of everything which we know they withheld.
Plus i guarantee they brought motions compelling disclosure of assets and that was denied.
Every single one of those prosecutions were a sham and amount to malicious prosecution and a deprivation of civil rights. Judges have basically blanket immunity and prosecutors have basically the same but at least prosecutors can have ethical repercussions.
They can if they push it. Each of these people took an oath to uphold the Constitution and they are openly subverting it. Desantis used their oaths to kick out a bunch of rogue politicians and prosecutors. It can and should be done.

The only problem with that is that five GOP congressman have said that they won't vote for any tax bill that doesn't include a significant SALT tax deduction increase. They said that just doubling it would be a non starter.
-Forced injections of experimental drugs or lose your job (thankfully SCOTUS stopped it)
-Mass sex trafficking program of poor women and children from around the world, coupled with the importation of working and fighting age males
-Mass coerced social media censorship of opposing political viewpoints
-Imprisoning political opposition with sham trials
-Pardoning people who committed crimes on behalf of the administration
-Framing political opposition for treason after illegal spying
-Withholding federal aid from disaster victims in NC
That’s all indisputable, without getting into all the other stuff we know happened but don’t have proof positive evidence out in the open yet.
Hopefully this can give them cover at least. I would love to see a Venn diagram of voters/congressman who value the SALT deduction over everything else and people who understand AMT. I don’t know if those circles would overlap at all.
If we want to talk tax cuts for the rich, it’s the SALT deduction.
Edit: that assumes pre-TCJA SALT deduction would come with pre-TCJA AMT limits and exclusions.

Not surprising at all. Help their high tax states at the expense of those in places that control their spending better. If they do do that, they need to raise the standard deduction significantly to counteract that. Sad nonetheless. Personally I'd call their bluff.

You hit on one of the big issues with the DEI focus.
When hiring starts to be based on things other than merit, you can’t tell who is competent.
I made that point recently with the LA wildfires. That fire chief actually seemed to have been at least semi competent as far as government officials go. But since LA and the FD were so heavily focused on DEI above all else, everyone just assumed she was an incompetent DEI hire. Not fair to her as a a human that the focus becomes her gender and sexual orientation.
