Unfortunately I can’t really rule this out based on the past decade or so.
Many Many of those Multi-Million dollar houses were passed down or bought when they cost pennies decades ago. Most of those people don't have any money at all.

A lot of it was tied to the whole ESG score nonsense that's been around. All these companies having to put their ESG reports together, you can find them on most of the large company websites if you go digging for them.

I am referring to your reference to post high school performance of kids in public vs private schools. My point is that kids from poverty and kids with disabilities are not going to perform as well in college (typically) as kids from well to do families from private schools.
You are comparing apples to oranges.
If you compare students from similar socioeconomic backgrounds WITHOUT learning/behavior disabilities...You would most likely see very little difference between the collegiate performance of public vs private school kids.
Socioeconomic status is the biggest indicator of student performance at all levels of school.

Yeah, I just retired from a midsize wealth management firm. As we grew, we became more corporate, including internal memos about financial planning for LGBTQ clients. When my new assistant sent me an email with his preferred pronouns in the signature, I went to management and HR and said under no circumstances will my assistant be allowed to send an email to clients with that signature. HR individual was surprised and offended that I would insist on that but, as I explained to upper management who agreed with me, half of my clients would immediately start looking for another firm that doesn't wear its politics on its sleeve. Insane that someone in the financial services industry would be so clueless about subtly pushing a political view on your clients. My assistant was fine with the omission and told me he didn't want to include his pronouns but HR specifically instructed him to do so.

That’s an extreme point. If we have sales taxes on things like food, detergent, diapers, etc. those are things poor people have to buy regardless. If we cut income taxes, which many don’t pay anyways, They are going to inadvertently pay more by higher sales taxes on above items.

They’re also having to pay a greater percentage of their limited wages on rent and utilities. Raising sales taxes increases this burden on them.

I'm so tired of the "my ancestors built this country" nonsense. One of the worst parts of slavery is that they wouldn't even let them do basic skilled labot. Slaves were used to pack material... that was about it. Craftsmen were scared to compete with slave labor so it was hugely frowned upon to even teach slaves math.
The entire California state government needs to be disbanded, and the territory can be absorbed by the other 49 when the federal government bails them out…
