Person A inherited a bunch of stock taxed already when in possession of Person A's benefactor's hands or purchased with after tax money and gifted to Person A that he borrows against to fund playing golf all day.

Person B works at a warehouse to pay for his family to get by. Person B may save up, work a 2nd job, or get a degree or license to increase their income, then purchase stock and become for his children what Person A's benefactor became for them.

Guess which one pays more taxes? It's not person A.

Fify

Guess who is completely missing the point?

Answer: The person who doesn't understand that the inheritance was already taxed at least once.

Why should Person A have to keep paying taxes on something on which taxes have already been paid? Unless someone is OK with Person B getting taxed on his after tax surplus every year in addition to his regular ongoing income tax, there is no argument to be made here except one born of jealousy and greed. Just stop

He should go after all of them, but first thing is to fix the country. As I have posted before, get rid of all of the pork and ridiculous organizations (DEI and the like), stop all of the EV funding, Ukraine funding, and similar laundering scams and take some of those billions maybe trillions saved over a year or so and form an organization to clean the swamp. Only Trump need be off hands of it but be kept in the loop of the progress.

I'll add he needs to immediately remove any overriding controls the dept of health at any level could ever again claim over the economy and forcing/coercing/extorting treatments whether experimental or not.

Now it's time to simultaneously fire and arrest EVERYONE who knew the laptop was real and deceived the public. Election interference and fraud charges for those among the fibs, intel operatives, doj, and politicians. Had the laptop been allowed to be inspected on its merits by the public, the piece of trash would never have been able to steal the election with fraudulent votes. He never would've been able to bus and fly millions of illegals into this country. He wouldn't have been able to start, fund, and profit from a war in Ukraine.

DOGA- Dept of Govt Accountability should get right on that

Wow, I had never seen this angle of the Ashli Babbitt MURDER…

She was definitely murdered in cold blood. Unfortunately its just defensible enough, with climbing through that window, that nothing will be done.

Hopefully we will get to the bottom of how many government operatives were involved in j6. I strongly believe we will learn most if not all the most aggressive agitators were all plants.

I don't think those people ever had any actual power. It was just an excuse to conveniently blame some unelected person or office while marching to the beat of lockdown.

Absolutely

NO. By no definition or precedent in the way this admin or any admin handled incidents that day or beforehand is this defensible. No one was in imminent danger. No one was being harmed. She was unarmed and was not even the one who broke the window.

All of the govt operstives and those who ordered and allowed it need to be prosecuted

Policing needs to be looked at across the board. Many need firing, many jailing, all need retraining. Protect and serve does not mean kill everyone that dares to question them.

Too many on the right are these back the blue types. We need freedom.

I think there needs to be drastic prison reform, especially for nonviolent offenders. Legalizing marijuana and everything that goes with that. I believe that welfare programs are more robust under democrats, and finally I think that corporations are taxed and workers benefit more under democrats.
So you're a big fan of the welfare state and government handouts. You think there should be any strings attached to those handouts? like maybe a work requirement or something?

The only question at this point is how broad “Biden’s” pardons are going to be on the way out. I’d imagine they’ll affix his signature to pardons for everyone involved in the lawfare against Trump, Fauci and probably every democrat on Epstein’s list.

Will be interested to see if Jill will pardon the Biden crime syndicate, or if they’ll cut off Joe and just issue pardons to the people who were loyal and valuable throughout the past 4 years.

I still can’t believe there are people dumb enough to believe Biden wasn’t going to pardon Hunter, and stupid enough to argue the prosecution for a couple of his throwaway crimes, coupled with an attempt to immunize him from prosecution for every other crime he committed, was evidence the DOJ was not biased.

Truly stupid, stupid people on the left.

If the Epstein and Diddy list gets pardons....

No, you idiot. They don't earn wages. The wealthiest earn dividends and use attorneys to shelter their income. So your argument about taxing the wealthy is disingenuous.

The answer to your question is by getting government out of the way.
Thank you for responding. I kept the top part because I just keep getting hung up on this part. So how do we force this wealth to trickle down? Or is that just a symptom of capitalism and there’s always going to be a few with this wealth and I have to accept it?

I don’t want a society like Saudi Arabia that creates dependency, but I do safeguards to ensure more adults are successful.
In your opinion, do you think the "wealth gap" should grow or shrink? Name three reasons why.

Do you believe that people should work 2 and 3 jobs to ensure that low income families survive? Why?
wealth gap should absolutely shrink. I’ll link federal reserve, but the top 1 percent in this country own 93% of the market. The bottom 50% own 1 percent.

Three reasons this should change:

American dream is dead for people 40 and under in many parts of the US. Look at Simpson’s. In 1989, Homer was able to support his family of 5 on his salary. Nowadays, it requires both parents to work. Houses are smaller are more cheaply built, and it is harder to support more than a child or two.

Glut of wealth has allowed companies to purchase many things to bottleneck supplies and exponentially raise prices. There’s one company in Toronto that owns 75k starter homes in the US. Most are used as rent or VRBO. I was lucky enough to buy my first home in 2017 for 120k. 26 year olds now have to spend nearly double that for a house.

Finally, wealth buys power. The more wealth you have, the more influence you have. With the bottom 50% scrounging to survive, we’re seeing more policies that are designed to give these people more power and influence while the bottom continues to struggle.

No, I don’t think people should have to work 2-3 jobs to support the poorest, I don’t want the system Saudi Arabia has. I also don’t want a system where a person can own 10 homes that lay vacant long chunks of the year while people are forced to move back home to make ends meet.

I agree. Unfortunately the law will provide him just enough defense that it wont matter.

It takes more schooling and training to become a barber than it does a Police Officer. Maybe that needs to be fixed.

I think the focus on pardoning Hunter is to distract from the other sht you're talking about plus congress. Keep the focus on Hunter while we fk the people in other ways

I agree 100% that we need better police officers. Some of us were sitting around the MP barracks drinking a few beers. Every so often one guy would hit himself on the leg as hard as he could. Finally someone asked why. He said he had hurt his other leg and was just balancing out the pain. He was going to be a civilian police officer upon discharge. But how do we get better officers? What would it take for most of you reading this to accept the job?

Exactly. At some point SOMEONE has to do the job and it's not the job it once was either

I think it’s probably simpler than that in this case. Probably a degenerate step son threatening to expose the family at a Thanksgiving gathering unless his mom blanket pardoned him for all the crimes he committed on behalf of the family by stamping his mentally incompetent dad’s name on a piece of paper before he got to sentencing later in the month.

Don't go get a degree in tree hugging and then expect to be able to drive a Benz or own a nice home.

Don't settle for working at McD's and then blaming everyone else for your plight.
For every person that matches this description, there’s another 50 that are delaying starting families, driving 12 year old vehicles and wondering why their rent is going up 100 bucks a year, when the sq. Footage remains the same.

Here’s the next thing coming: Joe is going to pardon himself and whoever else was in on the money laundering and grifting.

Going to say it’s to protect his family against mean old Trump’s revenge tour.

Exactly right.

But we weren’t seeing that under Trump.

A real internal conflict for those who swallowed the Trump hate.

If Trump wanted to cement himself as an epochal leader like FDR, he would attempt sweeping reform in areas that are hindering young people’s futures. He’d do something about private corporations buying up housing. He’d pass even greater tax breaks for married people who have children, paid for by slashing waste. He’d get government out of the student loan business and bring back down the costs of sending those kids to college or trades. He would deport millions of illegals who are using up our rental stock, bringing down rents. He’d slash regulations that drive up the cost of nearly every single thing. He would sweep away all the ways that people are incentivized not to get married when they have kids.

Do all this, and young voters would be a lock for the GOP for many cycles to come.
