Aside from letting other people do your thinking for you, and of course your acknowledged unfair envy ...while ignoring the wealth of Obama, Biden, and the rest of the elite Dems and their uber-wealthy supporters....
Just curious, if the very wealthy give you a natural distrust do you think that a homeless person would be a better POTUS?
You do realize that 45 took NO salary and that the attacks on him and his family likely cost him millions.
Why should he give up his business holding when his family is employed and runs them. Should they just take a 4yr exit from their own careers?
Enriching themselves? Seriously. Check out the before and after net worth of the Obama's who I would assume you virtue signal as your favorites of all time. Then check on the Clintons. Then Communist Bernie Sanders. Is it their abortion stance that allows you to enjoy your hypocrisy without flinching.
Does Kamala blowing through over ONE BILLION DOLLARS for a $400K/yr job bother you in the slightest. Are you capable of shame?
There’s wealthy people and then there’s people with cheat code amounts of money. I have no qualms with people that have millions or tens of millions of dollars. It’s the folks that have tens of billions of dollars that I have a problem with. It’s neoliberalism gone amok.
So in the context of Biden, Obama, and Bush, I can overlook their millions because a lot of it came after their presidency when they were citizens and in the form of speeches and books. Does it make me a hypocrite? I hope not. I don't think poorly of Rubio who has also been afforded these things.
I think people that run the executive office most effectively are people that have spent time in that position already so think governors. I think the next best are people who have been in the house and senate. I really hoped that Mark Kelly would have given Harris a run because of his brief time in the senate coupled with the fact that the man has time in the military and is a freaking astronaut.
Younger Big Mike really liked Mitch Daniels of Indiana and John Kasich. I think both of these guys would have been amazing presidents.
Yes, been told that Trump took no salary and lost millions, but I've never seen any proof of this. If he could clear up the murkiness of his finances, that would alleviate a major dig I have of him. Just like I mentioned before, I believe most of his children have earned millions after his stint with speeches and book deals. I have no problem with that.
Yes. That is the sacrifice of being the most powerful person in the world. Don't want that sacrifice? Don't take the job.
Taken care of your 5th paragraph.
I have a huge problem with campaign finances. It is stupid on both sides.
