Completely agree. People can say whatever they want. Angry male working class voters are just a subset of working class voters and need to be courted the same. If Democrats are going to be the party of scolding Karens they aren't going to win anything. Being right hardly gets you any votes when nobody likes you. Elections are popularity contests, not academic debates.

Not for ALL voters. There is a large contingent of Trump voters, for instance, that actually DO believe in his policies. I can't say the same for Kamala voters, because she never laid out any policies, either in written or verbal form.

In an ideal world, every candidate would go on record, and lay out exactly what they were for, and sign a pledge to support those things via the political process and their votes.

That way, citizens (I used that word specifically) could make a completely informed vote, and would have a written record to compare what the candidate (if elected) said, and what they did. They could use that information the next time that person was running for office.

For obvious reasons, candidates are not too keen on that anymore. (When I was a young kid, already abnormally into politics, for a 7 year old, candidates WOULD actually publish their platform and positions. You rarely see that now. )

Even if they did, I doubt that the vast majority of voters would even bother to read them, or even understand them if they tried.

Trump at least DID that. You might be diametrically against his views/positions etc. but at least they're out there. This has the effect of rendering ALL of Kamala's votes "popularity/personality" driven. And that's a shame. I truly mean that.

Below are some of the numbers nationally, but some of the numbers from cities and counties that the Dems have so thoroughly dominated in the past that Trump won this time really are amazing.

Actually the national numbers are amazing too:

I keep reading this....

When I voted in Virginia I had to produce my driver's license as did my wife and my daughter. (All at different times.) I realize the ID to vote is HUGE but Virginia voted for that Skank. Virginia must OWN it. (It was NOT due to not having to show an ID.)

Fairfax,Richmond,Norfolk, etc. The Northern and Coastal areas have made it damn hard for a Republican to win there. Just remember though, who the vast majority of those voters work for...

I do, I am one of them but I am whole hog in the swamp, in now, with President Trump.

Monkeys live for f***ing EVER (not literally)

I'm sure some of you older Lexington residents remember the Monkey House downtown (behind the Old Kimball House Hotel IIRC on Limestone) Those damn monkeys were there for DECADES. The first time I ever saw them, I was tripping, and a friend of mine took me back there. They would take a lit cigarette from you and smoke them like fiends. It wigged me out.

re: Lexington Oddities

There was a house on Blue Ash, which connects at Harrodsburg Rd. on one side, and Clays Mill on the other (near Lafayette HS) and a house near the Clays Mill side had a cage with a Lion in it. I think the woman that lived there was a teacher at LHS. Her son, IIRC brought the Lion back from somehwere when it was little. I think the cage is still in the backyard.

Lived in NOVA/DC for 8 years before moving back, government workers in NOVA are like the teachers here, unfortunately, with their political impact.

Still think Youngkin can knock off Warner in a couple of years.

I lived in Lexington for 7 years, one of my favorite parts was this guy off Tates Creek Rd...his front yard was on an incline, and he would mow letters that spelled Mitch McConnell's name so you could read it as you drove by, turned his lawn into a Mitch sign.

Basically I know where VH lives, or use to live in the early 2000s.

I know the house you're talking about. The House I'm thinking of was ON Tates Creek Rd. on the left as you're approaching Chevy Chase. I remember this house having various Republican candidates' names mowed into the grass.

But but but socials tell me all these women are "considering" joining the 4b movement.

I had to google it and am forever dumber for learning about it. Also its obvious bs. The only 4b women are the purple haired cat moms.

Perhaps the Trump administration and republican controlled congress should pass a national voter ID law for all federal elections. I believe such legislation was already passed by the House during the summer.

There are so MANY laws that are not enforced and some are enforced that are not laws. Just criminal what liberal judges do...

I am a staunch supporter of the 4b movement. It seems an effective approach to minimizing reproduction among those prone to radical liberal ideologies.

This seems an easy one. If I have to produce an ID to board a plane, or otherwise I'm turned away at the airport... it seems the same, simple philosophy can be applied to voting at a polling location. If no ID is produced to validate the voter's identity, then make it so no ballot can be produced for that individual.

How long you lived in Lexington? Here is a pic of my old place when I was there:

(I loved Lexington, but the traffic was the worst and they did sh-t to make it worse on purpose.)

Where is a Mitch McConnell mini-stroke when you really f***ing NEED one?
I don't know if there is like a 25th amendment for the Senate, but something needs to be done to get him out. He isn't fit to be in the Senate anymore physically, mentally, and also due to his connections to China and the uniparty. Of course the Democrats will vote against it to keep a Trump hater as next majority leader.

FrontRunner is trolling me, but there WAS a house on Tates Creek Rd, where the owner DID mow politicians' names in the yard. LOL

I was being serious haha, I'm sure we are talking about the same lawn, even in a place the size of Lexington how many psychos are mowing politicians names in their yard in the early 2000s? haha

I haven't lived there in 17 years, I might have the exact location slightly off, I could see it while driving on Tates Creek Rd is what I meant...only saw Mitch's name mowed in the lawn.

When I come up for a game sometime we are going to have a beer and steak clown...your treat.

Mitch needs to be investigated.... NOW. The first one President Trump's justice department should investigate. Get his immediate resignation and appoint a successor. Mitch MUST GO, Mitch MUST GO...

if they investigate his China connections he will be found guilty of felonies.
Just what we need: Beshear appointing a Mitch successor. LOL.

Arkansas comes out flat, gets behind big, scraps back (a little) but just can't get any traction to come back.

This seems eerily familiar...
The players that followed scum to arky proved what we have noticed for 4-8 years. Those players didnt give one shit about UK. They went and left for the name on the back.

Good riddance to those underachieving years...
