Shew I'm safe. Thank God one of my teachers told me to take typing instead of Spanish. She was wise beyond her years. Shortly after that the Internet blew up and everyone started getting PC's and things like handwriting aren't as important as they once were. Now my kids took Spanish and it's more necessary for them these days, but 2 years of it and they can only say a few phrases. 🤦♂️
My son graduated in 2019 and didn't even learn how to write in cursive to sign his name (daughter graduated in 2024, but taught herself). I had to teach him because of the poor job of the schools. I said print out your name and then connect each letter to the next one and you basically have it. Had to throw in a few curves in some places, but it pretty much worked like that. Just had to tell him to put 3 humps on the m's. No n's to worry about.
Didn't mean to turn this into an attack on the education system, but 2+2=4 (I think it still does) 😆.
