Somehow, the talking heads have made it their goal to make sure Kamala doesn't get any blame for losing this election. It was racism and misogyny. It was horrible campaign management. It was celebrities who turned vast numbers of voters off. It was disinformation from the media that lied to voters. On and on and on.

Very typical of liberals: it's not my fault, ever. Hillary still hasn't accepted that she ran a poor campaign, that she's imminently unlikable and she holds many, many voters beneath her contempt and she's not slick enough to hide it. Kamala is wholly unqualified to do much of anything. Most of the posts she's held, she has been appointed to. Sleeping with a married and 40 year her senior Willie Brown got her an appointment at the DA's office in CA. She was appointed/anointed the Presidential candidate when the Democrat machine deemed that Biden couldn't win. From all accounts, she's lazy, arrogant, entitled, vindictive and unwilling to ever accept the blame - it's always someone else's shortcoming. The longer she campaigned, the worse her polling numbers became. That should tell you something. There are even a few Democrat pundits who are openly questioning whether kicking Pedo Pete to the curb was the right move. So, keeping a clearly physically and mentally impaired octogenarian who performed woefully in a debate now seems like it was the better choice than Kamala. What does that say about her?

I'd run Tulsi ASAP, if for nothing else than to checkmate democrats into voting for OUR woman president. Put your money where your mouth is. When they don't vote for her (it's inevitable they won't) then we can stop with this whole "womens rights" nonsense.

I also think running Tulsi is a good way for republicans to reach across the aisle. I say that a lot, and I know many repubs won't agree with me on this, but I DO think it's important to be the party that comes to the table first, because that's the way we will continue to win elections.

Would have never thought I would see this in my life, but it is amazing how red both FL and OH have turned this century.

At this point, they have become virtually automatic for Repulicans. Absolute blowouts.

Heck, Kamala won IL, one of the bluest states out there, by 8 points, whereas Trump won FL by 13 pts and OH by 12 pts.

They’re afraid he will ram through something like a Federal abortion ban but it won’t happen. If Republicans can all get on the same page they can ram through immigration, social, and economic reforms that actually make sense.

One chess move I hope makes in the next year is to talk Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito into retiring so he can put in two young conservative judges to further enshrine the balance of power on the Supreme Court for years to come.
Amul Thapar a good choice.

I wonder if the democrats can think of anyone else to blame for their crushing defeat last night. So far I've heard white men, black men, Gen Z, "Rural Rednecks", Latinos, and the best one of all...fate. The latest target seems to be white women. They just couldn't bring themselves to vote for Kamala. lol.

I have to wonder if the media gaslights themselves. What a group of insufferable assholes. They really just can't believe that the country has seen through them and is tired of their incessant gaslighting BS.
It wasn't Biden or Harris. It was all the button pushers & levers operators behind them. Start with the Obamas. Pelosi. Warren. Gates. Soros.

I'd be fine with either Vance or Tulsi.

I just think Vance likely gets the nod due to his current status as VP seems like an easier transition.

I don't think the democrats are going to run another women in 2028. Hell I'm curious at this point who they even have on their bench to run.

Honestly? I think that I would be a PERFECT Press Secretary for President Trump.

100 percent serious.

The "casual atmosphere" that has been allowed to continue for 4 years, unchecked, stops on Day 1. That's a promise.

Every reporter gets a number. On a table, next to the lecturn is a bingo drum filled with numbered balls. I rotate the drum, pull one out, that reporter gets to ask a question. Ball goes back in, rotate the drum and repeat.

I'm only doing 5 questions per briefing, so don't f*** around and waste everyone's time with dumb questions. If I don't like the question, your ball goes in the penalty bucket (meaning out of PLAY) for 2 weeks. If you complain about it, it's 6 weeks.

Unless your number is called there should be ZERO talking. You get one warning. If you have to be reminded again, your ball goes in the penalty bucket for 2 months. The only people talking in that room should be ME, and the reporter I called on. Follow up/I didn't like that answer responses get your ball thrown in the penalty bucket for a month.

Easy as pie.
My man. 👍👍

I voted Harris / Waltz. I'm EXTREMELY worried about immigration (even though my husband is from the UK), but I can't get behind anyone who's against women having control over their own bodies, or a guy who just wants the presidency so he can pardon himself.
I'm happy to report I cancelled out your vote. Now make me a sandwich

From Michael Doran, norms and such:

First, I want Barack Obama to lose big and to retire from politics. His continued presence in Washington violates our traditions. He represents unelected and unaccountable power.

Media: “Elon is only supporting Trump because it will make him richer!”

Lol…I’m telling you the guy does not GAF about money. If he could land someone on Mars safely, but it cost him every penny…he’d say “land it.”

Telling the government to cancel all subsidies for his charging stations ($7,500 each, regularly)…Tens of millions in a year.

He sold all of his residences. He admitted, he stays with friends or in hotels or sleeps at his office or factories. He's essentially homeless. (not really, but theoretically) He doesn't own massive yachts or whatever either. I assume he has a private jet to get around in, however he puts his money where his mouth is and invests in his projects and doing things for the betterment of mankind. I truly think his name will go down in history alongside the likes of Einstein, Thomas Edison, Nikola Tesla, and others who's intellect and inventions and innovations have shaped history.

Couple planes and a helicopter.

Which he has used to offset taxpayer money to evacuate people from NC/TN during the floods.

You I've got my opinion about Trump. You've got yours.
We'll see how it plays out over the next 4 years. I honestly hope I'm wrong about the path he takes our country down.
I am an American and root for America.
I think we can all agree that the current party in power has done a hellava lot better job with the peaceful transfer of power than the last one.
So far no refusal to concede, no election denial, no riots, no rallies, no cops beaten, and no shit smeared on Capitol walls like when Trump was in power last round.
Time will tell.
Trump was president for 4 years and before covid hit, the country was doing fantastic. The world was even in better shape. Funny how people like you just have amnesia to that time period and expect to be taken seriously.

Have you seen the unhinged videos of your side having absolute meltdowns? They haven't left their basements and safe spaces yet. They have to make their videos first seeking validation for their mental disorders. It's only been 1 day. I'd be very careful if I were you about proclaiming the side that burned down cities, attempted multiple assassinations, and constantly wages lawfaire against anyone who disagrees with them as being peaceful. Just give it time. Republicans expressed our concerns on Jan 6th and then we moved on. Your side will piss and moan for 4 years and will use any means possible to try and stop this country from succeeding under Trump.

Interesting point to note: while Florida went heavily for Trump in the presidential election, the abortion amendment (would have prohibited any law banning abortion prior to baby viability, which wasn't defined) garnered 58% pro votes. Since it was an amendment to the state constitution, it required 60% to pass and, therefore, was voted down. But, a smart political party would notice that a deep Red state (in the presidential and, previously, governor's races) still has a pretty healthy majority on allowing abortion up to some undefined point in time. Backing a very restrictive policy as a party is sure way to lose votes, imo. Since something like 80% of Americans are against late term abortions, couldn't the Rs embrace a plank of 'no later than x weeks' and defang this particular issue for the other side and not lose the 'no abortions ever' voters?

Dont know who put it on X, but saw something along the lines of “Trump does not need to seek revenge, but he does need to seek justice,” and I fully agree.

There is no taking the “high road” at this point and letting the uniparty and deep state escape accountability for their crimes.

They all need to be punished to the fullest extent of the law. Every single person who knowingly pretended Biden was president making decisions. Every person who participated in the fedsurrection and sham committee. Every person who participated in Fauci’s bio weapon programs. Etc. etc. Send them all to prison.
Justice needs to start at the roots. George Soros needs to be dealt with for his treasonous acts. His son needs to go right alongside him as he is complicit as well and is the eventual successor.
