I'll be greatly disappointed if Trump goes on the war path. He's got 2 years to fix this mess. He doesn't have time to f*** around with that kind of crap.

Unless I'm misunderstanding you, part of what he needs to do is eliminate the bureaucrats and criminals that are undermining this country and tried to ruin his first term. Maybe I don't understand what you mean by war path....

So what happened to all those Biden voters from 2020? @Catman100 asked a very legitimate question earlier in this thread.

They all died. The only problem is they died before 2020. 😉

Exactly. I don't want to see even the first Twitter beef. We cant lose this momentum by losing ground in the midterms.

Its already going to be tough because of the massive whiplash of stopping all this nonsense. That will inherently cause short term discomfort all over as it is. Cant add to it with nonsense.

Stay focused. Delegate. Win or at least dont lose midterms. See results in year 3. Set up vance and one of the other talented younger gop people for 2028.

He definitely deserves credit for bringing them together. Now he just needs to keep them together. Doing that will require delegation and letting some others get spotlight. Hopefully he will.
Trump's biggest weakness was he didn't grow up in politics. It took him 4 years to learn that DC is populated by snakes and demons. Now he knows, and he knows who he can trust. It will be different this time.

Some of you may not be aware of this, but New Englanders, and Bostonians in particular, have occasionally been known to display some racist tendencies. Not ALWAYS though. Only when they SEE them (someone that isn't pasty white)
Never forget back in the 70s during the 'peaceful' Civil Rights Movement (revisionist history IMO) how the media basically would bash the South daily...how Northerners would self-righteously say/think they weren't racist (I knew many of them)....then they started school bussing in Boston......

They’re afraid he will ram through something like a Federal abortion ban but it won’t happen. If Republicans can all get on the same page they can ram through immigration, social, and economic reforms that actually make sense.

One chess move I hope makes in the next year is to talk Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito into retiring so he can put in two young conservative judges to further enshrine the balance of power on the Supreme Court for years to come.

Got to find 2 that aren't cinos and can't be bought. That could take 4 yrs on its own

Yes, I would like to see him delegate much more than is usually given to the Vice President. Vance should be given 2 or 3 big initiatives to lead. He is too talented to go to ceremonies like many VPs and shake hands. Musk, RFK Jr, etc...put them in charge of specific things and let them run with it.

Related note, Kentucky's own Massie has made his interest in Secretary of Agriculture clear.

Media: “Elon is only supporting Trump because it will make him richer!”

Lol…I’m telling you the guy does not GAF about money. If he could land someone on Mars safely, but it cost him every penny…he’d say “land it.”

Telling the government to cancel all subsidies for his charging stations ($7,500 each, regularly)…Tens of millions in a year.

One of the reasons I think there is still hatred in the media for Kentucky. It was so nice for the racists up north to have the SEC to point to and away from themselves. They made money off of "race" and were not happy when UK integrated the conference. No more scapegoats. No more distractions.

It was a betrayal because it made them look inward, just like Trump does for the modern Democrat party.

I'm a former yankee and know very well you didn't want to be a white man walking hand in hand with a black woman on the south side of Chicago, and it wasn't the white people from which you'd catch the most sht.

Your big ticket items that you want to see addressed asap?

-The border and deportations, obviously.
-Eliminating as many bureaucrats as possible.
-Rolling back regulations.
-Putting an end to the college loan scam.
-Unleashing American energy.

What else?
That's a good first day lol.

He should open the pipeline back up as his first EO immediately: just to set the tone.

Nothing to protest last time either. Sore losers vs class and believers in the peaceful transfer of power in a democracy.

81m votes. Even your average Dems are starting to question it now.

Also, it’s been one day. Protests already in Chicago last night.

We will see how the “classy” Dems respond once the wounds get licked.

Dont know who put it on X, but saw something along the lines of “Trump does not need to seek revenge, but he does need to seek justice,” and I fully agree.

There is no taking the “high road” at this point and letting the uniparty and deep state escape accountability for their crimes.

They all need to be punished to the fullest extent of the law. Every single person who knowingly pretended Biden was president making decisions. Every person who participated in the fedsurrection and sham committee. Every person who participated in Fauci’s bio weapon programs. Etc. etc. Send them all to prison.

When folks talk about "lack of experience" in politics, what they really mean is "lack of experience in dealing with the biggest scumbags on the planet".

No other business can prepare you for the depths of depravity in DC.

Couldn't they just create a tax credit to accomplish the same financial outcome of the Amendment?

Exactly. They knew this amendment was a failure when they proposed it.

There are 2 or 3 different ways to accomplish the same thing, but some of that needs to be done on the federal level. It makes no sense that college tuition is tax deductible for parents but private school tuition for Pre-12 is not. No reason not to put that out there. It doesn't harm anyone else except politicians. Should do the same for school supplies and required books and textbooks regardless of enrollment.

Making it a tax credit or tax deduction would be an easy and great first move

Disagree. His business dealings over his entire career involved politicians from both sides. He knew how the game was played which is why he won the first time around. He may have a better understanding from the trust issue, but he was definitely not a stranger to the demonic side of DC, which can rival multi-billion dollar deals in business.

At the risk of stating the obvious, it seems like many folks on here are under the impression that Frankfort actually WANTS to provide funds for families that wish to send their children to a private school, and that is why Amendement 2 was on the ballot.

Ummm, I don't believe that is the case LOL

Putting it on the ballot allowed the state government to get it "dealt with" (and they knew it would), and get them off the hook. "The people have spoken" as it were.

The LAST thing those spineless f***s in Frankfort want to do is take on teachers in this state, for reasons that I've listed numerous times on here.

They've been pulling that tired old thing (getting rid of annoysome issues by putting it to a vote) out of the playbook for decades.

Things that they don't want to happen (for personal/business/selfish reasons), but that people would support, NEVER make the f***ing ballot. (casino gambling, recreational marijuana to name a couple)

Excellent summary

I just hope when trump takes office he remembers all this. This time it wasn't just him powering through. It was a collective effort of diverse peoples and ideas all bound together to defeat literal fascism. Dont get in power and start feuding with the very people who put you there.
As a former CEO of a fairly large company this is one of the things I told people I back in '16....that Trump will/would find out that being President isn't the same as a CEO. CEO your decision is gospel. What you say goes. If you're smart you take other peoples input to mind...but it is still your decision. President is much, much different. May make a decision but then you have to go thru all the channels, branches of gov't, etc to get it done...and it may not make it. And if it does then you're looking at court cases to stop it.

Until they see it happening to friends. Good luck with that.

Well guess those "friends" of illegals need to step up and sponsor them! Fkn put your money where your mouth is ffs! If you want them here, pay their taxes, mortgage/rent, and give them a smartphone. Quit being a POS and do it already

Expecting everyone else to do it is just being a virtue-signaling pure ashole.

Boston is San Francisco + the N word.

Lived in NH all last year…was in Boston regularly. Heard more slurs in a weekend than my entire 17 years in North Carolina

The new England area is truly one of the most racist places in America. They might never/rarely utter a racist word, but there are no minorities there anywhere. The only exceptions are the ones they tolerate to do service work and thats scant few.

Trump's biggest weakness was he didn't grow up in politics. It took him 4 years to learn that DC is populated by snakes and demons. Now he knows, and he knows who he can trust. It will be different this time.

While true its just a personality strength and defect of his. He is 100% a leader and 0% a manager. He needs to learn the management skills if he can get effectuate this massive shift in politics.

For sure. Vance is infinitely better at handling the incoming fire and skillfully redirecting it. Put him in front of every camera and talk show you can. Give him projects. Set him up for 2028.

I still dont completely trust vance, but currently he is the best bet on winning next time which is the most key issue

These videos the left are making of themselves crying/screaming/throwing a fit over the election should be mandatory viewing for their current employer or anyone they ever interview with in the future. I mean this is a giant red flag they are willingly posting on social media just to see what other nutbags share their sad vibes.

These people are absolutely pathetic yet wildly entertaining (in small doses at least).

I’d be perfectly happy if Trump spent the next few years flying around the world, shaking hands with dictators, coming up with names like rocket man, etc. Basically anything to keep the media attention on himself while the team of Elon, Vance, Vivek, RFK, Massie et al burn the executive branch to the ground.
