At the risk of stating the obvious, it seems like many folks on here are under the impression that Frankfort actually WANTS to provide funds for families that wish to send their children to a private school, and that is why Amendement 2 was on the ballot.
Ummm, I don't believe that is the case LOL
Putting it on the ballot allowed the state government to get it "dealt with" (and they knew it would), and get them off the hook. "The people have spoken" as it were.
The LAST thing those spineless f***s in Frankfort want to do is take on teachers in this state, for reasons that I've listed numerous times on here.
They've been pulling that tired old thing (getting rid of annoysome issues by putting it to a vote) out of the playbook for decades.
Things that they don't want to happen (for personal/business/selfish reasons), but that people would support, NEVER make the f***ing ballot. (casino gambling, recreational marijuana to name a couple)
