Pubs should tie Congress term limits to a SC term limits Constitutional Amendment. Biden should be asked if he favors that too.
That said, I'm for SCJ term limits. Candidates today are picked for being young, not for being the best minds. Thomas is great, but he's been on Court 33+ years. Term limits would help assure the best minds are picked by both parties since they'll time limit out before they want to retire/give up power (They do stay for the power, not because they know they're the best.). I favor more like 20-25 years. What's wrong with it? Shouldn't apply to sitting justices by me.

Before then, it was one every 1.8 years and for 73 years there were only six justices, so fewer spot were available. And there were still more appointed per year. NET, justices today stick around way longer on average today.
