If/when Biden quits, resigns, doesn't run, etc....look for a full on Dem/lib/media sob story. Rachet the sympathy up as far as they can get it...to not only make as many people as possible to feel sorry for him, but more importantly to get as big a sympathy vote as possible for whoever replaces him on the ticket.
Remember back in the 90s, my mom and a bunch of her friends voted for DeWine when he ran (and won) for Senate here in Ohio. He had lost a daughter in a car accident and they all felt sorry for him. Not his policies, etc....just felt sorry for him.

I watched the debates 4 years ago. He was fine. I watched it with hard right friends that conceded he kicked Trump's ass. Biden won the election partly because he looked much more Presidential 4 years ago.
The last 4 years have been fine overall. As bad as Biden is right now...this is still a close race because half the country despises Donald Trump and doesn't share your bizarre apocalyptic view of America. America is fine.
