And there's no need to whine about socialism/communism, as this inflation is happening right now under capitalism. It's capitalism, not socialism.

A very long article on the 2020 election in Georgia. Read it...but have to admit I need to read it 2 or 3 more times. Very involved with a lot of detail.
Interesting to me in that I lived in Georgia for 20 years.

Vance's seat in OH is not a safe seat. BAD idea. We gain NOTHING with Vance as VP. I like the guy but he does not bring in a single black vote or soccer mom who wants a reason to vote for Trump like Scott does. That is a NATIONAL appeal.
Agree that Vance brings zero that Trump doesn't except greater appeal to the same voters he already has. I do like him & think he has a national future. maybe he can be the next Mitch McConnell. I think Burgum tech & business backgrounds bring a lot - stability & skeptical suburbanites. Youngkin is also stable & beat Dims at their own game. Carson OK.

Vance won an open seat 53-47. He'd win bigger the next time. Sherrod only hanging on due to his incumbency. Moreno vs. him for open seat & Moreno wins. Moreno < 50/50 now I think unless Trump concentrates on OH to win big. Now maybe Vance as VP would help Moreno too.

Rent free. You're obsessed.
Speaking of rent...

Good Luck Trying to Rent an Apartment in Biden's Economy.

No one is immune from the impact of Bidenomics. According to a new report, the average renter can't afford a typical U.S. apartment.

According to Redfin, the typical U.S. renter household earns about $54,712 per year, which is 17.3% less than the $66,120 needed to afford the median-priced apartment at $1,653 per month. This means that 61% of renters can't afford their housing without significant financial stress
.

The crap you and your freaky little friends shove down our throats.

Thanks, Joe!

OK, but why should a lower income - $54K is lower income, $74K+ is median - renter expect to afford a medium priced apartment?

Lost a great one. Former Texas gubernatorial candidate Kinky Friedman passed away today at age 79. I remember 18 years ago when he ran.

1) "If elected, the first thing I'll do is demand a recount."

2) "A fool and his money are soon elected."

3) "There's a fine line between fiction and non-fiction, and I believe I snorted it in 1976."

4) "I believe musicians can run this state a lot better than politicians. We just won't get much done in the morning."

5) "Remember: Y'all is singular. All y'all is plural. All y'all's is plural possessive."

6) “Money can buy you a fine dog, but only love can make him wag his tail.”

7) "Friedman's just another word for nothing left to lose."

Are they going to have the candidates teams in the room watching the debate live? Or is CNN actually locking everyone out besides Trump, Biden and Biden’s team from CNN?

Absolutely crazy if CNN is not allowing anyone to see the raw uncut footage.

Trump needs to record the entire thing on his cell phone.

What's the problem..... They're only trying to protect us from misinformation. 🤪😜😛😵

Watching Jesse Waters on FNC last night; he mentioned that the NYT was going to have 29 (!) fact-checkers working in real time.......

This debate is going to be the proverbial sh!t show.

I don't automatically trust Vance or a couple others based on their past comments. Trump needs loyalty and not a mole who will leak. Also, the VP position attends funerals and nothing else. The position is best used as a symbolic pick. If we are truly trying to reach into the Trump appeal to black voters (mostly men) then Sen. Scott fits that bill. He will be harder for the left to attack because we can just call them racists. You will also see....our side will call him the FIRST true AA candidate with his poor upbringing. Not Hawaii privilege and leveraging his whiteness (Barry). A real rags to riches story. POLITICALLY he is the most compelling choice. I don't think we need to waste the VPOTUS spot based on some "competence" level. Scott is fine wrt that as well but the rest of his story is what will attract voters NATIONALLY. There is no swing state that Trump should grab a VP from. NY is not realistic. Mich? Don't see it.

Not when it’s two 80 year olds. VPs will matter in this election because there is a high probability that either becomes president. Trump needs a solid vp pick.
Biden has shown that he is not in charge of anything. The Deep state and the DNC and media pull his strings. So I don't think that we get anything different with Kamala or Gavin or anyone else. "Is it bad enough yet" is the only thing that matters.

As for Trump. He is not someone that I worry about with his health. He is muuuuuuch better physically than Biden so the VP choice is less important and more "symbolic." No fence sitter is going to vote for Trump because of any VP's political views or gravitas. Totally symbolic and a black GOP-VPOTUS sends a really strong message. We are going to fight for the black vote.

Yeah. This is a real selling point.

I don’t believe it for a second. Biden and his 50 years in government is the head of the deep state. Just because lately he’s gone downhill doesn’t override his history.

Oh he was right in the thick of it at one time. I’m sure he has enough ammo to blackmail all of DC. That’s why he is where he is. He wanted the legacy and they said fine, but you’re not running anything. It’s all Barry and his Marxist cronies.

He was told that they would push his ass across the finish line in 2020 but he needed to be totally subservient to the radical left of his party....just look at the Obama staff that actually pulls the strings. Ron Klain, Anita Dunn, Samantha Power and others. They have all the power over Biden and make the decisions. Nothing in Biden's past in the Senate indicated he would be as radically leftist as he is. He is just a placeholder...willingly.

/2 My only surprise in politics so far is that Merrick Garland has not gone DIRECTLY after Mitch McConnel for denying him the SCOTUS spot. I suppose Garland has just decided to use Lawfare to go after trump and 50% of the US in order to to get revenge on MM through Trump.

Generally agree but it does happen. Worked with a guy back in 1992 who was a conservative and voted Repub his entire life. Was all for voting for Bush Sr. again....voted for him in '88. My buddy was from Tennessee. Clinton named Gore as his VP. My buddy turned on a dime and became a Clinton supporter and voter. Sad that someone would be that shallow. But he was a good guy.
Not watching. I already know the outcome.
Same here.

Let’s see how many Biden lies get fact checked.
