I understand you don't watch the news, you've told us many times. And look, I get why you don't. But maybe if you actually watched it you would see what politicians are up to and even see them out right saying they are coming for them. Honestly man, just stop making comments about subjects you aren't informed in. You're a smart guy and have good stuff to offer, but politically you aren't well informed. Better to keep your mouth shut and be thought of as an idiot rather than to open it and prove it.

Given the opportunity, the democrats would disarm every single American citizen. Fortunately, they haven’t been given the opportunity.

Recently they’ve given up trying to even hide the fact taking away all guns is their goal.

The 2nd Amendment is as absolute as it gets. As we’ve seen with everything else, you give the left an inch, they’ll take your science/genders/bathrooms/life (with drone strikes on Americans)/etc.

Curious as to when the democrats are going to announce they’re hiding Biden. Do they wait all the way until Sunday then cancel the debate after the morning news programs? Friday afternoon?

Obviously it’s getting canceled. Or at the very minimum they’ll do it remotely so they can pull the plug if Biden forgets where he is.

Looks like a low case count for U.S.

Would have loved to have been able to close down borders earlier and help things...but we all know how some in this country are with stricter measures when it comes to border security, immigration, people visiting this country from certain areas generally speaking...

I bash Levi as much as anybody, but I think his data was what was reported as of 3 or 4 days ago, it has increased that much that fast. Those numbers are definitely all bullshit in different ways, and countries are all having vastly different responses, so good luck getting more accurate data.

It's not really about profits. It's about survival. For example, if you produce televisions in the USA, you won't make less profit, you will go out of business because you can't sell any at the price you have to charge to make money.
Now maybe the issue can be addressed through tariffs or some other way, but companies are doing what they have to do to compete with other global companies that are producing their product in China, etc. I'm not sure what the answer is, but you are right that we need to be more self sufficient.

All the United States manufacturing industry needs is a level playing field. I do realize the much cheaper wages paid to workers in other countries and that does compute the lesser costs along with other factors but in the larger picture the United States has distinct advantages in shipping and other areas that help combat those costs. Shipping and in many cases protected storage and other logistics and insurance costs along with host country taxing/ confiscation factors are huge factors in expenses. (Not the only expenses but that would take another forum to go in depth.) Give the United States a level playing field and I like our chances in the competitive markets. Note: There are always exceptions such as raw minerals or materials located in an advantageous area or other countries.

The Supreme Court granted a reprieve Wednesday for the Trump administration’s “Remain in Mexico” policy, preserving — for now — the key tool that allowed the government to solve last year’s border crisis.

The justices issued a stay on a lower court ruling that would have dissolved the policy, officially known as the Migrant Protection Protocol, in Arizona and California. The court said the stay would remain in place to give the administration time to argue its case before the high court.

It’s the latest in a string of rulings in which the justices have allowed President Trump to carry out strict immigration policies even after lower courts ruled against him.

In this case, the decision was 8-1, with only Justice Sonia Sotomayor saying she would have refused the government’s request.

MPP allows the government to push migrants who show up at the southwestern border back across the line into Mexico to wait for their proceedings in American immigration courts.

It might be, but the "death rate" is way off for USA, Italy, Iran and France.

Figures in the matrix appear manipulated to make certain folks look bad.

The death rate especially doesn't mean anything right now. It's clearly going to look worse in the US last week because we were only counting the most obvious cases. It's like if we only counted case #1 in the movie outbreak where the guy gets off the plane vomiting blood, the death rate won't look so hot.

As we've reported more cases, the death rate has gone down. Do more cases make you feel better or worse about the situation?
 
It looks like liberal leaders across the country are adamant about creating the most damaging frenzy & panic through canceling large events in the hope that it will deteriorate the confidence in our great President just enough to sway the 2020 election.
