I laugh at first, but its possible with Dickinson gone this guy will improve substantially.

As an anti-Kansas guy, I’m glad he’s going back there. Kansas can remain stuck in 1996, while we widen the all-time wins gap
No one “is going off” on Pope, stop with this BS! Some of us who don’t have our heads up our (radio edit), are just taken back by the UK administration’s approach to NIL, because the current approach does not equate to being the Gold Standard of CBB, and we have been caught off guard by it!
We all LOVE Coach Pope, we just want to play in the deep end of the pool with the rest of the big boys! Is that too much to ask?

Then I would think that Kansas is a good fit for Bidunga, don't you? He has a 1996 offensive game - although a pretty good one - consisting of using superior strength and athleticism to score inside, as well as good rebounding and shot blocking. Not a shooter, ball-handler or passer, but what he does he does well, I think. I actually wonder, if given the same opportunity to play a couple of years in Pope's system, whether he might not become a better version of Garrison.
Personally, I don’t think so. I respect the effort Bidunga plays with but I don’t think he’s very good. He had a lot to do with the reason all of Kansas guards that were shooters had a bad year imo — no space. He’s a very good rebounder and defender….and that’s about it. Garrison can guard the perimeter, has a growing perimeter game, has the ability to dribble and pass, etc. I think it’s simply a situation where fans tend to want what we perceive we do not have. Let me be clear, I’m actually not that high on Garrison. I don’t think his post defense is great. I don’t think his decision making is good. I’d still much rather have BG than Bidunga in Pope’s offense. FB is a black hole, nothing more than a dunker spot/rebounder. There’s a reason why that archetype is almost extinct in the NBA — you give up more with it than you gain back. If Kansas puts a big next to FB they will be bad again imo.

I don’t care if they won the title two weeks ago. They are playing an antiquated style of basketball where they try to win with duck-ins, post scoring and inside-out double bigs. That’s why they had spacing issues and guys like Rylan Griffen go there and all of a sudden don’t have the floor spaced like a modern basketball team. If you think KJ Adams > Hunter Dickinson > Flory Bidunga > Dajuan Harris Jr. lineups are going to score enough points to win in 2025 more power to you….but it’s antiquated.
Everyone is gonna feel dumb if we land the 3/4 guys they wanted from the start. Jumping to conclusions because media puts something out doesn't mean that's who pope wanted
