Most everywhere I go, I take a quick public poll on politics, and attempt to have civil discussions about sensitive political issues with people from diverse backgrounds. CFA is a great place to do this. People are just delighted to debate abortion and guns while enjoying a nice chicken sandwich. It’s the way America should be.

I’m don’t consider myself a germaphobe and I can handle some listeria enriched Blue Bell.
But, they don’t serve the popcorn to you. In that sea of ruralness, everybody has their free bag of popcorn that was self serve.

A Rural king opened five minutes from me 5 years ago. They price shop tsc and are 10% to the penny cheaper on items they both carry.
I only have a need to shop there for a quick trip, like hardware. That place is so full of destination shoppers (they shop like they are at Samsclub)that it takes forever to checkout.
I can drive 10 minutes further to Lowes and be home quicker.

Most of my trips to RK are for lawn and garden stuff that other big stores don’t carry. Then I find good deals on other odds n ends. I really hate Lowe’s.
Surely you are not seriously outraged at this. Air Force aircraft land at many different airports all of the time and not just the ones stated in the article. Being a person who has loaded many (still do) I have waited for days (literally) for C17's, C5A's, and various other Air Force air craft because they were diverted for whatever reason.
Only TDS has people like you screaming foul because of your pure hated for Trump and the military.

After reading the article, naturally, I do not think a full-blown congressional investigation is warranted in this case.
However, this situation could warrant a quick correspondence with the Fraud, Waste, and Abuse Hotline (if it still exists) by crews, if they felt something fishy was going on.
I used the hotline once over the pricing of a particular circuit card extender that in my opinion was seriously overpriced. The "hotline team" looked into my request and provided me with a straightforward answer. The manufacturer had to re-tool their machine line to make a limited number whenever a new order came in. If the Navy had bought in bulk, the price per would have been better of course.
Point being, there are existing, reasonable, and effective avenues to look into these things without a full-blown Congressional inquiry.
But the answer to this particular question is not the point of the investigation now is it?
