Is it possible to not let crazy people get guns?
At this point I’m not sure.
There are probably more guns floating around in Texas than kids who can read on their respective grade-level. Banning them will do nothing.
It’ll be 200 years or more before America figures it out. We should all die a natural death before that, but the odds of getting shot by a stranger while buying shampoo at Target are higher than ever.
What has changed in society the last 30-40 years?
The internet, a 24-hour global news cycle, and way more guns in America.
Or is “rap music and violent video games” the more appropriate response?

Start the month with two mass shooting incidents, end the month with one. I guess that’s...”progress.”
SMH
Now folks can’t even go to Home Depot on the weekends without getting shot.
We will do nothing in response.
Thoughts and prayers though, right?

It's a trophies for losers, everybody is a winner, pc culture problem. Young people these days are raised fragile and frail. Also victim culture and viral culture play a part.
Millennials can't handle adversity because they've been pampered their entire lives. After getting a taste of the real world they play the helpless victim and lash out in a way to go viral even if it's in infamy.
Also I'm not super religious but even a half ass believer like me can see that the further away this country gets from God the worse off it becomes.
What are those odds?
1:1
1:2
1:1000
1:1,000,000?
Liberal attitude, lack of discipline, taking God out of the equation, devaluing life by killing babies. Do guns kill babies in the womb? Guns don't kill people, evil people do.What has changed in society the last 30-40 years?

Not Christians doing the killing. God has been taken out of the equation more and more. Can't blame Christianity for this. The US is the most religious western nation in the world. Doesn’t seem to help with the shootings at all.

You don't hear about them but people are dying by their governments in larger numbers in many of these third world countries.I’m not, not at all. But god has been taken out of the equation even more in other first world countries but we don’t see the constant barrage of mass executions like we do here.
The US is the most religious western nation in the world. Doesn’t seem to help with the shootings at all.
Or aggressive aholes like you who measure their manhood by him many guns they own. If any of my sons grow up anything like you I'll kill myself. Your dad is either just like you or incredibly disappointed in you.Well Obama gave a shit ton to Mexican criminals? Might be a problem?
Or fake religious like trumpIt’s not nearly as religious as it was, and as the number dwindles society keeps getting worse.

Are the odds greater of being black and shot in Chicago or white and shot in any target in the USA?

So? No one said it was the sole reason. Also I'm not talking specifically about the shootings.
Generally speaking this country isn't better off if we're all a bunch of faithless, godless sinners who instead are cult like members praying at the alter of Gaea. Balance like with everything is key.
If you disagree then we'll have to agree to disagree and leave it at that.
Just his fakeness.Good lord, you are eat up with Trump.
Well, that depends. How many people are black and in gang areas in Chicago? They choose to be there, so they know the risks.
Just his fakeness.
When did I ever mention Christianity? Your bias is showing.I’m an atheist. Doesn’t mean I’m part of a weird cult. Not sure what you’re trying to say here - that everyone who isn’t a practicing Christian is an evil cultist?
No, it goes along with our 2nd amendment right of owning a gun for protections against others and an oppressive government. Plus, we are not even top 30 most dangerous (for its citizens) countries in the world.Well that’s a big goalpost move from the conversation we were having.
You are always talking about your daddy. We aren’t talking about Trump right now, Ed.

My father just passed away from cancer two months ago. I would happily shoot your POS shit disgusting face with a shot gun.
Go **** kids and once you get arrested jail and prison will do it's work.
Sorry to hear about your dad USS. Mine died in 2004. It eventually gets easier and the hurt will diminish. Hang in there. Also, fvck cancer.
You are always talking about your daddy.
God in general. Doesn't matter. Again it's my opinion that the further we get away from God the further we get away from the golden rule which is a principle found in many religions. You didn’t, but as part of the more holistic conversation, warrior did.
I’m quite sure you’re not advocating for more people to take up Islam. Judaism? Maybe that’s what you meant.
