Matt Jones, pure and simple, is a self-aggrandizing carnival barker. I stopped listening to him months ago for this very reason. He comes across as such a pretentious know-it-all when he delves into politics. Since he is writing his hit piece on McConnell, I wonder if that means he is chickening out of running for the Senate? I really do hope he runs and gets his Texas sized ego flattened.
.He badly wants to run this time. The whole plan was to run next time. That's why he started diversifying into hospitality. But this book deal (that noone will buy) is nothing more than a cash grab to make a last ditch effort at running this time.
He must be close to running now. Because he knows this book will alienate even more people than he already does and will devalue his media brand. Not sure he wants to incur that loss annualized over the next six years, unless he just plans on releasing the book three or four years from now

Have no opinion of Jones. Do not know the guy and rarely ever listen to his show (football pregame only), but if KY were to vote out the most powerful leader in Congress who has decided to grow a spine because of Trump for a sports radio personality liberal then God help us all.

Jones' doesn't plan to stay in KY, sounds like he planned on parlaying a senate run into a higher profile, media wise. This book deal will get him tons of attention, and media show invites.

Everyone knows that perception is what moves markets. If the media was fair and didn’t render so much anti trump opinion we would probably have stronger growth. As long as people are tuning in or reading negative opinions of the economy people will be hesitant to spend and invest. Your economic takes are so outrageously stupid. The media is working against trump so it’s only natural that they will work to cool the economy to get him voted out.
