I'm for a well regulated capitalistic/socialistic system where every decision isn't made for the benefit of corporate America or worse global corporations, while citizens of the nation be damn. It's kind of strange how policy suggestions today that some freshmen democrats are making, are nothing more than a return to policies that were successful in our past. Marxism is less of a threat than the fascism we are currently steering towards. My God man we have Nazis marching in our streets not communists. Heck I think patriarchy is a bigger problem than Marxism. Yet we are currently dismantling the system of oversight and regulation our grandfathers and fathers put into place after the great depression and the cyclical monetary crisis are coming around regularly like clockwork as a result. That correlates with the ever widening of scope of wealth even to the basic level of health and healthcare. Her tweet is literally the opposite of border security! No walls, or patrols . . . just more staff and roads at points of entry. I had a high school senior tell me about how a lot of kids view the MAGA hat crowd over the holidays. He was telling me about a kid we both know wearing one at school and hassling Hispanics like it's a prank. Kid thinks it's funny to yell "build the wall" at a Hispanic girl whose family are citizens at least three generations back. I think they view it as comedy to be an asshole if you're wearing the hat. Hopefully this is just a bad attempt at humor and not bad kids.
