Ha

We suspected a jihadist sh*tbag was a jihadist shi*tbag FOR 13 YEARS and didn't do nuffin.

Look how many known Islamic terrorists were operating here under Obama. Yet they did nothing. This is at least three we know of (Boston Marathon bombers and FL nightclub shooter).

No doubt he had a stand down order.

Amazon topped LinkedIn’s list of America’s 50 best places to work, according to a list released Wednesday that also included disruptors like Uber, Airbnb, Alphabet, Facebook and Salesforce.

  • The list also includes Apple (number six), French fashion conglomerates LVMH (19) and Kering (38) as well as Nike (35) and Starbucks (46). Companies with some retail operations, like Disney, Dell, Verizon, Tesla and WeWork, also made the list.
  • The list, which was formulated based on billions of actions taken by LinkedIn members (but didn’t include LinkedIn itself or owner Microsoft), focused on four main pillars: interest in the company, engagement with the company’s employees, job demand and employee retention, according to a blog post from LinkedIn Editor in Chief Daniel Roth.

I was on a flight once with an HR lady from Amazon. She was responsible for all the warehouse workers in the Southeast. Unbelievable stories of the stuff they caught on video camera. The folks at the bottom level there weren't all top notch to say the least.

Why isn't Cynthia Nixon living at the wages of the average worker? That also goes for Mr. Booty, Dion, and all the other liberals here, you can pay in enough tax to make you equal to the average worker. I suggest you do that and and do your part for being a socialist.

They always have great ideas......that YOU should live by. Not them.

How does Amazon being a great place to work in Seattle stop them from taking $$ from local brick & mortar stores, W-M or others?

So what do you have against local small business? ...and you think Walmart is going anywhere to "help"?
They're going there to pick the low hanging fruit of society like yourself.

The object of business is to earn profit. Socially responsible businesses only do so where they can do so responsibly, pay wages and offer benefits that allow their employees to live with dignity.

Do I think the poor have a car to fill up? 93% of households in Kentucky have an automobile. Most of those households that do not, don't because of choice or are elderly who no longer drive. I'd give you this info in a link but I realize that's too much for you to handle.
So Costco doesn't put a store in Pikeville because they can't make a profit while paying "socially responsible" wages & benefits, right? Then who does pay those wages there? Does Costco provide low gas for the poor in Pikeville?

W-M helps the poor a lot with its low prices. You just don't understand that.

What makes a local clothing store paying min wages socially responsible?

Why is it ok for Amazon to shutdown local businesses, all the while Amazon isn't opening a store in the those towns. Yet Walmart is demonized for doing the same, but they do have stores in the towns?

I'm not defending Walmart, not a big fan, but it's ridiculous to promote Amazon in one breath, and shame Walmart in the next. That doesn't even take into account Amazon silencing views they don't agree with.
I defend W-M to the hilt. Done more for poor areas than any other retailer, bar none.

Is Goodwill socially irresponsible for offering goods at lower prices than a local retailer?

If you continue to live in that small town and the local grocery, local clothing store, local shoe store, local hardware store, local sporting goods store, local gas station and local pharmacy have all closed...where else are you going to shop?
It's criminal to shop for these things at W-M? What the h is wrong with you? I'm 2 miles from a HD. I'm 1.5 miles from local hardware store. His business is great. Just offer slices the chain store doesn't.

I presume you never shop at a chain restaurant/fast food, only those locally owned.

#BrooklynBecky Exposes 'Wokewashed' White Supremacy

The Root really is the gift that keeps on giving.

"The 19-year-old white woman of Puerto Rican heritage, who uses the name “Bella” on social media, directed her confused statement to Darsell Obregon, as she called the police on her."

Will those damn white Puerto Ricans ever stop being racist!?!?!?!
Such a compelling example of a white person acting out of racism toward an African-American person!
...except...you know...
...if the supposed racist had actually been white, instead of Puerto Rican...
...and if the supposed victim had actually been African -American, instead of identifying as "white Hispanic"...
...and if the supposed racist had actually been triggered by the supposed victim standing near her doorway because the supposed victim was African-American, rather than her reaction being a manifestation of her autism...
...other than that, yeah, it's absolute textbook. Good job bringing this perfect example of white-on-black racism to light, The Root!

Perhaps because that has nothing to do with Democratic Socialism.
