2 of the three I work with look like movie/cartoon characters. One, looks like the witch in the Bugs Bunny cartoons and she is a Kentucky girl. The other is the spitting image of Ms Ballbricker in Porky's. She did not know the character when one on my coworkers told her I thought she looked like her and so she looked it up and agreed. Saved by a sense of Humor.

Cruz is trying to add an amendment to do away with the tax raise trigger, a reverse trigger he's calling it. As the plan sits now, if growth from the tax cuts isn't as anticipated, doesn't increase revenue to help pay for itself, etc... after so many years a trigger kicks in and raises taxes to offset that lack of growth/increased revenue.

What Cruz is proposing is the same exact thing, but instead of the trigger raising taxes, his trigger would lower/cut government spending instead to offset the lack of growth/increased revenue.

The left is starting to go nuts about the tax reform bill now that it looks like it will pass. Sacred liberal cows are going to die as the bill also contains a provision to open up ANWR for oil drilling and a repeal of the Obamacare mandate requiring people to buy insurance. With corporate and inheritance taxes being greatly lowered, class warriors like Bernie Sanders should be on suicide watch.
