It's a cruel gameI tried playing for a few years back in the 90's early 2000's, but gave it up after I broke a window on a house at Glenmary. That was it for me. I think I played in a scramble for work once a few years after, but that was it. It wasn't that I hated it either, i was just bad at it. I enjoyed being out on the course, being outdoors, and all, but hated getting frustrated and holding up the group with my poor play. My son took up the sport late in High School and through college, and can smash 385 yard drives. He works for a golf store now as well so gets to practice on their simulators a lot. He's a master Club fitter now too. He won't be fitting me for any clubs any time soon though. LOL.
