And this just now.....The Trump administration is pausing all aid to Ukraine, including weapons in transit or in Poland.

Yeah, Musk did. We will never leave the UN, nor should we. I hate the place as much as anyone but you can't just cede the kind of advantage it gives us in diplomatic negotiations. What we need to do is cut funding to things that harm the country like the WEF.

The Ukraine thing was coming no matter what after that debacle the other day. Zman has taken his grift to Europe now and is asking them to give Ukraine the 240B of frozen Russian funds that is sitting in Euro banks.

He is in for a shock. Europe paid Russia around that amount for oil and gas last year. They won't cut their own throats for him. He is about to find out what happens when you overplay your hand.

Correct. I pay a private company for trash. Correct. I pay fees on my water bill that handle any problems with the line not on my property, otherwise I pay for it. Done it already. Electric bills have maintenance fees, city fees, and state fees that are added to the bill to fix problems that come up. I have posted on this before when talking about taxes paid by Americans being really some of the highest in the world when you take all of your receipts (purchases and gas), bills for a month, and look at the taxes/fees applied (fees are just another word for tax in this instance), and how much is taken out of your paycheck and add them up, then subtract that from your monthly gross.

Me and my wife did that one month and it came out to almost 50% of our gross. We did this about 10 years ago so, not sure what the amount would be these days as our income is higher.

Edited: I have been corrected, wife just told me it was about 45% of gross. Ok. Still the amount of taxes, fees, and hidden fees is quite high. Adjusted depending on where you live.

Actually Russia has been advancing faster and faster this year. I'd be shocked if Russa doesn't speed up even more after the thaw this spring. They were measuring wins in meters before last summer and now Russia is advancing miles in a week in multiple spots.

There was an interesting article in the NYT today about the role of drones in the war. It was crazy. Something like 60% of all soldiers killed were a result of drones.

Iirc there is very public evidence out there showing our military industrial complex hoped we would be attacked so we could go to war. They even considered staging an attack to justify getting involved.

Makes you wonder if pearl harbor was really much of a surprise attack at all. An analyst tried to warn everyone but kept getting dismissed. The MIC probably knew it and let it happen.

I no longer wonder after all of the different testimony and circumstances surrounding the attack. East Wind Rain being just one. The situation of the fleet and that our most prized portion of it had left PH overnight that same day is another, but there are more.

Many of you probably watched what took place between Donald Trump and Zelenskyy tonight. Whether you're a Democrat or a Republican, you might be thinking to yourself, Oh my God, Donald Trump just screwed up.

However, as a lifelong practitioner of martial arts, strategy, and philosophy, let me explain the difference between what you believe you witnessed and what actually happened.

Donald Trump has been under constant political persecution since the beginning of his first term. Over time, he has learned to be patient and calculated.

Tonight, Zelenskyy was invited to the Oval Office. However, both Trump and JD Vance knew exactly what Zelenskyy was going to do—he would use this opportunity, in front of the American people, to make a power play. Both Trump and Vance anticipated this.

When Zelenskyy began appealing to the emotions of the American people, JD Vance stepped in, accusing him of disrespecting Donald Trump. This was brilliant strategy. It’s important to understand that Zelenskyy is trying to gain access to NATO.

Trump knew this but could not allow it to happen. If Ukraine joins NATO, the U.S. would be bound by NATO’s collective defense agreement—an attack on one is an attack on all.

Now consider the larger implications: Ukraine and Russia despise each other. If Ukraine were to become a NATO member, any future skirmish between them would obligate the U.S. to enter into direct conflict with Russia. This would mean World War III. And if that happened, China would have to choose a side—they would almost certainly align with Russia.

So what you witnessed tonight was a setup. Trump and JD Vance knew that the only way to achieve peace was to strategically align, at least on the surface, with Russia. Why? Because Russia would never sign a peace treaty if Ukraine were admitted into NATO.

This is why Trump dismantled Zelenskyy’s argument. And when Zelenskyy, seeing his play failing, tried to backtrack and offer a treaty, Trump refused.

Zelenskyy’s real intent was clear—he would not agree to peace unless security guarantees were in place. But what was he actually saying? That NATO must accept Ukraine. However, Russia would never agree to peace, knowing that NATO, their historical adversary, would surround them.

Zelenskyy, Putin, and Trump all knew this. Zelenskyy, thinking he had Democrats' support, believed he could make this bold move on live television. But Trump and Vance saw right through it and outmaneuvered him.

They knew that, in the short term, Democrats and the media would try to use this moment against them. But they also knew they had two years before midterms to prove their strategy was the right one. So they held their ground—brilliantly so.

Now, Zelenskyy will have no choice but to back down and accept Trump's terms. But here’s the genius part—Trump is actually protecting Ukraine without dragging the U.S. into war.

By negotiating a mineral deal, Trump ensures that Americans will be involved in Ukraine’s mining industry. This prevents Russia from launching an invasion, because attacking Ukraine would mean endangering American lives—something that would force the U.S. to respond.

Trump played both sides like a master chess player. In the end, Zelenskyy will have no choice but to concede, because without U.S. support, Ukraine cannot win a prolonged war against Russia. And once U.S. companies have mining operations in Ukraine, Putin will be unable to attack without triggering massive international consequences.

Don’t underestimate Donald Trump. In this game of chess, he’s 10 moves ahead of everyone.

If you want to to see an unconfident atheists' head spin, just mention God or being thankful to God for ANYTHING. Especially if they are in the presence of others in which they've made jokes or worse about anyone who is a believer.

It IS a spirit and not just a belief.

I've seen and heard atheists say IF THEY were to become religious or worship any deity, it would be ___ (pagan/polytheistic) religion rather than the Creator. It really does underscore that they don't disbelieve so much as they actually hate the very idea of a merciful Creator. The gnashing of teeth described among the rabbis that killed Jesus and Steven gives a great representation of what I've seen and heard first hand, among those who are professed atheists as well as professed people of a faith when they hear the name of the Son or a scripture read to them.

Right? I've never understood atheists that get mad over prayer. It's the biggest "poker tell" ever. They SAY God doesn't exist, but don't truly MEAN it. Well, there are some who do believe it, and you'll see a polite "thank you" after a "I'll pray for you."
