Myself and 2 friends (early to mid 50's) all got the first jab. There was a promise of no masking.
None of us ever got #2.
One had arrhythmia, one a stroke, and I myself had internal bleeding within 3 weeks. All in ICU for some amount of time.
Anecdotal for sure, but also true.

Had 1 jab before I became aware of a possible issue. Took the second anyway to appease the wife. Arm was sore for 24 hours after 1st and no other reactions with either jab.

Always hoped I was getting a placebo.

Anyway I was 77 and wife 73 so we were manipulated a bit by the propaganda.

Wife’s sister was battling stage 4 cancer and we were going to visit and she insisted on getting the 6 month booster. I said no but she got hers. God suggested that I should go ahead and support her in this, so I did. Again no observable reaction.

“Staffing issues” caused the control tower at one of the most critical airports in the country to be understaffed….

While we have seen tweets (that admittedly have not been verified) that perhaps thousands of applicants have been turned away because they weren’t diverse enough. We do know that there is in fact a lawsuit against the FAA about this.

Today Trump said (as I understand it) that DEI caused this accident. Immediately his haters claim that he’s wrong.

Well, is he wrong?

The thing about him is, his instincts are usually right, even if his words are not concise.

THIS political thread has had guys saying for a decade now that this DEI trend would eventually get people hurt. Did that mean that minorities are incompetent? Or did it mean that competent people are being discriminated against due to race? Now we see for ourselves, that it can mean all of the above. And I think that’s what Trump was driving at.

During the Albertsons merger hearings, someone asked if there were products like milk where Kroger increased the prices to consumers more than the price increase the suppliers passed to them. A Kroger exec obviously said yes. The stupid people ran with headlines that Kroger was “price gouging”, and the stupider people still parrot those claims.

What the Sams don’t understand is Kroger has plenty of operating expenses that were also increasing in Biden’s inflationary environment and if they only raised prices penny for penny what suppliers were increasing, they wouldn’t have been able to cover increased wages, etc.

The Sam’s are just stupid people repeating what they’ve heard without understanding what they’re saying.
