Did I miss you guys talking about Planned Parenthood’s emails being exposed where they were negotiating a deal with UCSD for fetuses?

Did it? They're on board with all other trump picks. If they were anti trump, theyd oppose them all.

Gaetz was just an awful pick. When i saw the news, i really thought it was satire or something.

That doesn't excuse this group's general untrustworthy behavior but here on this issue it was the terrible pick not trump.

Fully understand your thoughts on it. But I presume most of the opposition to Gaetz was because he went against the uniparty in ousting McCarthy.

So in my opinion, it’s not a good sign they’ve got this momentum, and even worse when you hear Mike Rogers’ name being floated for FBI.

Trump has made some good picks. Some not so good. But it seems like the longer things go, the more influence the uniparty had over his decisions and that’s what killed his first term. AG and FBI director were two critical pieces that allowed (and promoted) the Russia collusion hoax.

Bondi seems like a good pick given the X reaction from people I generally end up agreeing with. However, the uniparty victory over Gaetz is not a good sign for the MAGA agenda given the uniparty history of torpedoing Trump.

This is exactly the type of person i hoped for. Everyone here bashed me because i pointed out the obvious which was gaetz was a poor pick. He was a trump 1.0 pick and the rinos actually saved him from himself. I hope he owed gaetz some favor because otherwise that was just weird.

This pick is much better. It was a bit of a long road, but glad he finally reached the right destination.
I agree totally with this. Unlike Gaetz she actually practiced law for many years. She was a prosecutor and state AG. Way more qualified that Gaetz.

Agree with you. Thought Bondi was very good during the impeachment and she’s loyal to DT. However, seeing Jeb Bush and Lindsey Graham loving this pick is a bit concerning. If Rogers is picked then I think we can expect business as usual come the next 4 years. Maybe they can be successful with decreasing the level of the swamp a bit but highly doubt it’s the drain a lot of us were hoping for.

I wonder if the uni party influence is because trump didn't have a candidate in mind? Those positions are crucial and badly in need of reform from outside dc.

He wasn't a poor pick....just very poor timing. There is a difference. You and a few others on here are starting to play the conspiracy theorist game a tad too early as Trump hasn't even been sworn in. Give it time to see how things play out.

Does anyone know that Trump is actually interested in Rogers? Just seems odd as most of his picks have been centered around going against the corrupt swamp monster that is the DC establishment, and Rogers would be the exact opposite in one of the most important positions Trump is going to appoint. I find it hard to think that Trump, after being completely rail-roaded by the deep state/corrupt DOJ, is going to put the exact type of person who is all for using the DOJ as a weapon to go against Trump in charge.

This is typical for the Democrat Party. Riley Gaines is a vocal critic of Leftist policy against Men playing Women's sports....so they, as Schmuk U Shoomer stated, have "6 ways to Sunday" to get you. In this case they go after her Brit Univ KY scholley hubby. Deny him legal status because he believes in, His Body His Choice. Eff you Dems. All of you. You suck and are an existential threat.

What I said in '16 regarding Trump also goes for Elon and Vivek. Huge difference in running a company than dealing with government/swamp. When you run a company...what you say goes. Dealing inside/outside government is a totally different ballgame.

They are going to run into landmines from the Swamp they have never dealt with before but am hoping their superior intelligence (especially Elon) can be 2 steps ahead at every turn.
So when McConnell's term is up in 2026, assuming he calls it quits at that point, will we be at risk of losing that seat to a Democrat in KY? I know Daniel Cameron was who he essentially groomed to replace him eventually, but would Cameron even make it out of a Primary? Who do we realistically need to run to ensure that seat stays red? Should Massie consider running for it, even if it means giving up his Dept. of Agriculture appointment? Who will the Dems likely run?

I'm curious where the Mike Rogers "interest" even supposedly came from? There was no reason to think he would want Rogers for FBI. He (to my knowledge) has never said anything about him. Wonder if it was a name RINOs were pushing?

Some on here yesterday (or maybe day before) were saying that Gaetz resigned from THIS Congress...had won his election two weeks ago...so would be able to serve in the NEXT Congrress ('25, '26). I didn't think that was right. When you resign...you resign. This article seems to point that out...plus Trump put Gaetz up for appointment to get him out of the way in the House.

McConnell’s term isn’t up 1/3/27 unfortunately. Don’t think Kentucky has elected a Democrat Senator since Wendell Ford left office in 1998.

From an outsider (non resident) it seems to me that Cameron ran an awful campaign when he ran for Gov plus a lot of cases he pursued during Covid, etc were nothing more than 'knee jerk reactions'
