TDS was their downfall. It kept them from thinking rationally.
To wit, the vendetta that was launched against him after he left office. Yes, he was still popular, but if they had just said "beat it", and left him alone, I honestly don't think he'd be the President Elect today. He might have tried to run, maybe even gotten the nomination, but the constant persecution made him a martyr, and kept him in the headlines EVERY SINGLE day for 4 years.
Now, even if you TRULY believe that all of those charges and court cases were justified, wouldn't it have been better, knowing what you know today (talking to the Democrats/DC) to have just let it go? LOL

You might be right. In the primaries leading up to Hillary, he was not my first choice, but I did vote for him in the election. I thought overall he did a good job, so though I wasn't a big fan of him as a person, I voted for him against Joe. By this third time, the media had pushed things so far that I actually started liking him.

Food for thought for all of us...I read an article a few minutes ago that fears Trump will have the House and the Senate like he did in his first 2 years as president. Think about that for a moment. They fear that he will have us up and running again with a good economy and low prices. Who does not want that? Socialist overlords and shadow governments plus low information, uneducated, ill-informed and evil voters. Three of those types of voters we can help and forgive. The last one needs to leave the country and go to one that fits their agenda.

They’re afraid he will ram through something like a Federal abortion ban but it won’t happen. If Republicans can all get on the same page they can ram through immigration, social, and economic reforms that actually make sense.
One chess move I hope makes in the next year is to talk Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito into retiring so he can put in two young conservative judges to further enshrine the balance of power on the Supreme Court for years to come.

Is President Trump a saint? Not at all. I do think he had a come to Jesus moment and not when he was shot. I think it happened long before that. Him being shot and surviving just resolved and reinforced his change in his heart. (Just from observing him from afar.) He still has his rough side but the man cares. Have seen it too many times in too many situations how he's changed. He will never become nice and that's okay.
One of my worst fears was seeing Laughmala in front of Putin and other world leaders whiny and sniveling like she does. Just sickened me...

First kid reminds me of a young man they hired for me. I was trying to train him and telling him about learning and that he would be learning every day of his career. He told me he already knew everything that he would ever need to know. Later on he told me he was a socialist. I suggested he move to Venezuela. It wasn't much longer that I got him to move on.

He is well documented that he would ignore the law requiring him to appoint from a list of 3 candidates from the GOP to replace a vacancy. If he can thumb his nose at the law....if Joe can ignore the SCOTUS....then have at it.
