Food for thought for all of us...I read an article a few minutes ago that fears Trump will have the House and the Senate like he did in his first 2 years as president. Think about that for a moment. They fear that he will have us up and running again with a good economy and low prices. Who does not want that? Socialist overlords and shadow governments plus low information, uneducated, ill-informed and evil voters. Three of those types of voters we can help and forgive. The last one needs to leave the country and go to one that fits their agenda.

They’re afraid he will ram through something like a Federal abortion ban but it won’t happen. If Republicans can all get on the same page they can ram through immigration, social, and economic reforms that actually make sense.
One chess move I hope makes in the next year is to talk Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito into retiring so he can put in two young conservative judges to further enshrine the balance of power on the Supreme Court for years to come.

Is President Trump a saint? Not at all. I do think he had a come to Jesus moment and not when he was shot. I think it happened long before that. Him being shot and surviving just resolved and reinforced his change in his heart. (Just from observing him from afar.) He still has his rough side but the man cares. Have seen it too many times in too many situations hoe he's changed. He will never become nice and that's okay.

First kid reminds me of a young man they hired for me. I was trying to train him and telling him about learning and that he would be learning every day of his career. I have 5 friends that I would describe as liberals. Two of them are in the TDS area of the Vinn diagram. Both of them texted me this morning (independently, not a group text) and said that they were positive that Trump would die in office. 😳
I said this to each of them (again, separately), I hope that is a prediction, not a wish, because if that IS what you wish then you are far too mind-f***ed for us to be friends anymore, and also; it's extremely unwise to text about something like that on your cell phone, period. At some point during the first Trump administration, my wife's family and I came to a mutual agreement that it would be best for me to celebrate Thanksgiving with MY family. Clearly I don't need to elaborate. But after last night, I'm definitely breaking that truce, and making a glorious "last stand" in this, the year of our Lord, 2024.
(to give you an idea of what I'm up against; all of them, w/o exception, work in either government or education. Nothing but closed minds, as far as the eye can see.)

I always pointed out his new accounts because he is such a b-tch he would always make comments to the liberals here that they had so many other aliases. Last night was typical Baller Cal/Cold Beer behavior (I said nothing about him last night or for months here) but 2 or 3 posters slightly disagreed with a couple of this posts from X. And he started getting upset with them even though no one had said anything to him. He has always been that defensive.
My advice to him, since he likes to spam the board now with regurgitated memes we have all seen 12 times is he might want to have the sense and go back and erase the 50 times on here as Cold Beer is first 6 months that he said the board would be better if people didn't post memes and that memes were just people out for likes. Again, he has always been the b-tch he accused others of.
