One of my best friends is a heavy hitter on the lobbyist front in DC, and he sent me a poll a few days ago that was used by insiders on the Trump team. It had all the swing states going in Trump's favor. This turned to be 100% accurate, even down to the percentage in some states.

Back to the topic of abortion, as it was a big deal in this election. The Dem base demanded that Harris pursue an extremist federal abortion law. Trump seems done with the issue, on a federal level. The issue hurt Harris outside of her extremist base, because most people who view themselves as leaning pro-abortion probably see the issue as not paramount in federal elections, because they have the issue at a state level. The issue also hurt Harris with anyone who leans left, but is pro-life or leans pro-life. She made that issue front and center for these people. Harris with a Dem legislative branch would install extremist abortion laws. Now, an issue that should no longer be federal, is made federal by the Dems and that makes them impossible to vote for, for some portion of voters. The Dems have made it so that Dem candidates CANNOT be moderate on that issue. It’s a beast of their own making.
