POLITICAL THREAD

How will they rule ??!

  • YES - Qualified

    Votes: 41 82.0%
  • NO - Disqualified

    Votes: 9 18.0%

  • Total voters
    50
  • Poll closed .
Hope the poll watchers don't abandon their posts for the next couple hours and days. The Dems will keep adding votes over the next week to two weeks. Nothing is over until the faux lady concedes

I'm not "believing" any of the three right now, I just find it interesting. Selzer is legit but that poll came out of nowhere. If it's a miss, then it's a big miss. Clearly she's seeing something there and pointed towards women making the difference. Ras leans right and loves Trump, that's just the way it is. Baris posted some recent data but I don't take much from early voting numbers. We've got D's voting Trump, R's voting Harris, a Kennedy falling in love with the Republican nominee, and conservatives endorsing the Democratic nominee. It's actually wild when you step back and think about it.
It wasn't just a miss. It wasn't just a "big" miss. It was possibly the most single catastrophic polling miss in polling history and will be ridiculed for years. And you liked it.

No need for Mich and Arizona Ag's to hold back votes now. Just let the world know she lost them too. Hell... Wisc probably should speed so we know before 6am that he won that also.

Now Nevada will send all their numbers.

You watch. They were waiting, hoping.
Same in Mich and Arizona. Bannon warroom has been saying he has both and the AG's are holding the pub areas to drag it out.... in hope.

So, quick story...my principal (public middle school where I teach) is a closet conserv and goes to a Baptist church...today he announced at dismissal on the intercom that they had done a Civics exercise in 8th grade today, having the kids vote in a blind poll, where the only thing the kids knew were the platforms. The winner with 45% of the vote was Donald Trump. I laughed so hard my sides ached and my students (I teach at a 97% minority school) groaned. Best day ever.

My advice is keep praying, keep posting crappy memes and far right tweets from folks who would probably die for Trump, and keep staying angry over conspiracies and polls that work with Trump's campaign. This thread ain't changing. Four years ago some here admitted it was finally time to move on from Trump. A few months later an insurrection was apparently the left and the FBI's fault and now you've convinced yourselves again that there's just no way Trump can legitimately lose. Rinse/repeat.

In 48 hours Harris will be President-Elect and you guys will still be here in 2028 whining like children lol.
Bump.

So with two days left, Trump's final message to America is that he actually shouldn't have left office in 2020 after he lost and that he wouldn't mind if people "shot through" the "fake news" media. Yep, this dude is losing Tuesday night and his campaign has been a disaster since the MSG rally.

If he loses, here's a thought - blame Donald Trump and the dumb things he says daily. And then go pick another politician to worship.
Bumpity bump bump.

I kept this quiet but I saw a pollster go into the fact that Trump was further ahead than the polls indicated. His reasoning was partially Republicans not responding but also the media wanting to create this close race that wasn't that close.

I thought well, we'll see if you're correct or not but I kind of believed him.
Same thing happened in 2016. Trafalgar was the only one who predicted it close.
