YOU wake up. Doing what's right isn't always what's politically expedient. Compromising what's right in the name of political expediency is how we got into this mess in the first place. Keep it up, eventually the bad guys will get around to something you DO care about. Get a clue: God hates abortion and He WILL judge this country for it. He already has. I have a feeling Ohio will pay a heavy price (or maybe it already is?) for this decision.

Pub education supporters never say how much funding is enough, just that it needs more - forever.
But that's not stopping the Dem/libs. In the last week or so they have begun running the same type 'abortion' ads that I've been seeing in PA (against McCormick). Instead of 'Mary from Pittsburgh' its 'Jane from Zanesville'. That Moreno is pro-life...that Moreno will 'pass' anti-abortion laws...my daughter will not have the same rights that I had....blah, blah, blah.
Public Education is like most things once the government "takes the wheel" It crumbles under the weight of the enormous bureaurocracy that is heaped upon it.
The left feigns a heart attack if "getting rid of the Dept. of Education" is floated out there. And why? They don't have an actual purpose. They SAY they do, and list all of their responsibilities, but that is a shell game. All of those things are already performed at the local level. And the funds/grants that they provide? 90 cents of every tax dollar for those "grants" goes to pay compliance staff at the Department of Education and, for example Title 1 administrators at the local school district. FCPS employs 12 people, with a salary and benefits outlay of roughly 2 million dollar per year for Title 1 ALONE.
They employ an entire staff of grant writers, all of whom make 6 figures. I could go on for hours... And I'm not blowing smoke, I know what I'm talking about when it comes to FCPS.
The point is: all of that money that is supposed to go to help children goes to pay administrators that decide how much money they're getting and where it should go (theoretically speaking of course, since they've devoured 90 percent of it by then LOL)
Title 1 bought a 10,000 dollar color copier for their office. Now, FCPS already HAD three color copiers on contract. But when I mentioned that to them I heard, "it's a long walk up to the front hallway" Underfunded my ****ing ass...

But back to Ohio. People are not stupid. Not even most women. They understand that Moreno will be 1 of 100 in the US Senate....and that he cannot undo the Ohio statewide referendum.

You'll never get a job in academia as an open conservative. They're incredibly hostile to anyone that's not on the left. Very similar to Hollywood. They take over these industries and then gatekeep these industries thus only promoting their view.

I was an open conservative in my department (the only one who wasn't afraid where as a handful of others were too afraid to speak up in class). They want to talk about being respectful? HAHA They're the most intolerant group in the country. They don't want anyone to have a voice but them. You also won't be surprised to know that they are horrendous debaters and incredibly low info because they're used to -Left wing professor promotes left wing view and slant on every topic-- dumb and impressionable students regurgitate that professor's views back to them for a grade. Rinse and repeat.
They short circuit when you bring up the flaws because they're not used to any pushback which furthers why they always try to silence dissent. You don't have to worry about a debate when the other person isn't allowed to speak.
