What scrutiny? It was the most safe and secure election in history. Surprised you didn't know that. You weren't allowed to scrutinize it lest you be censored, shunned or in some cases prosecuted. Scrutinizing it made you an election denier, so there was no scrutiny (allowed).

You strike me as a person with shallow / no religious faith. I'm far from a perfect Christian, but I will gladly support Trump over Kamala as POTUS.
Now, if Trump were brought into my church as my new minister (priest, preacher, etc) I would almost certainly be looking for a new church to go to. When I compare Trump to Kamala, I see a guy will at least make the effort to uphold religious freedom and provide at least a basic level of support to the pro-life cause. I don't see that at all with Kamala; quite the opposite in fact.
I'll let the other conservative posters speak for themselves, but in general I follow the William Buckley principle when I vote - I seek to elect the most conservative officeholder who most closely aligns with my personal / religious views.
Of course, whether aware of it or not, you are doing nothing different in terms of dividing and conquering. I think there is also a reason and very clear strategy from GOP messaging at the top to characterize Democrats by their extreme.
If you listen to any run of the mill GOP pandering ad, you will see that Democrats primary concern is pronouns, defunding the police, black lives matter or insinuations that illegal aliens are somehow more likely to be murderers than everyone else. The only people who actually buy this are the people who don't know any better or the Republicans who are in on the charade.
What they don't actually want to talk about is reproductive rights, how the GOP is doing nothing to address skyrocketing debt, it's various initiatives to censor books, inject religion into public school curriculum or actual solutions to the deepening housing crisis.
However, I don't agree it's one or the other or view the world through some false binary choice. And not to take it back to me, but I don't think like you. I think the GOP does have values that are actually good for America. That's why I am not totally closed off to Trump, even if he is a piece of shit. It really depends on how things play out. It's about utilitarian value and what will work for America in the next 4 years. That is a dynamic problem that requires more than over simplified platitudes.

In 2016 I didn't like either choice..... I didn't trust Trump as an authentic conservative (I still don't), and I sure as hell wasn't going to vote to HRC. I figured Trump would win Indiana without my vote, and I assumed Hillary would win POTUS, so for the first and only time in my life (so far), I wrote in my vote for POTUS in 2016,
It's your decision and your conscience, but I would encourage you to vote for a third party or a write-in.
I tend to vote on my pocketbook and national defense. I'm retired from education.
Republicans traditionally suck on funding education/teacher's salaries.
MAGA party is an isolationist pro Putin party on national defense.
I am for less government incursion into people's bodies/lives/doctors offices. The current Republican stance on abortion is the opposite of that.
Those issues currently effect me more than gay or trans issues and abortion which are the issues the current Republican party spends 90 percent of it's legislative energy on.
Specifically what do we need to be "reigned in" from? Wanting peace and prosperity for Americas? Wanting to live by our founding principals and not those of Globalist tyrants? Wanting a secure border? Cheaper Gas? Lower inflation? What do we want so badly that we need reigning in?
The violence he advocates should be called out, especially at this point, however the world needs to see how unhinged and psychotic he and many like him have become, so let him keep baring his ass on there.
