A lot of us learned from the Iraq war. I was a supporter of the war in my early 20’s, then I saw Obama come in and destroy all of the gains and in the end we lost thousands of soldiers and spend ungodly amounts of money just to DESTABILIZE the region.
Modern liberals used to be against all of that until the war machine decided to hide behind stupid and meaningless social issues and use the Democratic Party for cover. The democrats are the the party of big business and the military industrial complex now. They support Goerge Bush and Dick Cheney now. We do not.

The vast majority of my Republican friends/family can't stand Trump. They think he's a horrible human being.... But vote for him purely on policy issues. Most would prefer another Republican who doesn't divide us like Trump.
They also agree with me on the insanity of abortion laws with zero exceptions for rape/incest. They want laws with exceptions.
We all agree on the need for a stronger border policy, tougher crime laws and most of them actually agree with Biden on Ukraine. They thought he should have been even tougher. They are not fans of pulling the plug on Ukraine support.
They believe in vouchers (unlike me) but also think the constant bashing of teachers and calling them groomers/indictrinators is far right looney sh** aimed at the gullible voters.
We all agree on lower taxes and better roads/infrastructure/healthcare.
They don't fall for the BS election lie but do want tougher election laws like voter ID requirements.
They are pissed about the border and I agree with them.
The only difference is how to get there.

The next polls that will come out will be rigged and show Harris with a huge lead over Trump. The elites needed to get Biden out of office, so they allowed the polling to show Trump with a lead and now that he's out of the race polling will revert back to being manipulated and false.
