The "both sides are just as bad, can't we all just get along!" argument is either ignorant or bad faith.
It's an insult to your intelligence. The Left is directly and explicitly calling for political violence while manufacturing various egregious hoaxes like the "fine people" hoax or the "bloodbath" hoax to make it seem to an ignorant and naive public that it's you on the right.
You also only ever hear it from them when it's useful for them to deescalate after their side has significantly escalated. This is like Hamas supporters crying about proportional response after october 7.
The Left must fix themselves if we are to survive as a country. This type of "argument" is simply a deflection at best, a way for them to not do the necessary and uncomfortable self-reflection, or at worst, a manipulative and completely disingenuous method to advance their corrupted agenda.

Needs to be repeated that Trump needs to ditch the Secret Service and hire his own security until Nov. He cannot trust the Feds to protect him plus needs to have folks who have a very close eye on local law enforcement as well.
