But you do realize that if Trump does get back in office, theres new rules now, right? Clinton, Obama, Pelosi, Biden (anyone really) would all be fair game.

4) I'd love to see how Americans would feel about a Trump presidency where he ignores current issues to waste time "getting back" at previous presidents, current politicians, and individual media members. You really want Trump, an unpopular person, to spar with the likes of Clinton and Obama, who are way more popular than he? How would that electoral map look if it was Trump vs Obama in 2024? If Biden can beat Trump, Obama would blow his doors off this year.

Are you implying posters haven't wanted the right to go after Dems in a personal matter? To dig deep and arrest them? That's literally what most here have wished for for years. As for point 4, I feel it's accurate. We have issues that need straightened out. If Trump wins, a majority wouldn't want him constantly sparring with politicians from the past and the media as he did from 2016-2020. I want to see polling that shows a majority would like Trump (and the right) in 2025 to take on the likes of Obama, the Clintons, Pelosi, and Biden plus family, that involves investigations. This thread can't stand it but in 2024, Obama is simply much more popular than Trump. What this thread has wanted for years (investigations and imprisonment for many on the left) suddenly means the fall of America when the shoe's on the other foot. Irony and such.
I suppose the other trials occur sometime next summer into the fall and perhaps spill into 2026 but unless Trump wins the WH again, courtrooms and guilty verdicts will be his future and I don't feel one bit sorry for him and the decisions he made. Same for Rudy for example.

None of that is controlled by you. You can't even cook it yourself since it nauseates you.
You know it's all that most people have, and they are more stable when they can readily eat and be satisfied than if they are physically starving. So you eat with them and hope that somehow you can reason with them at some point.
An election year comes and neither candidate cares about the food or air quality of the planet, they both eat poorly and seem very self-absorbed 24/7. What's the difference between the 2 candidates? They both cheated on their spouses. One lied every day for 50 years. One lied about lying. One told a story about his dad being eaten by cannibals. One extorted a foreign country. One stole documents they weren't legally allowed to possess.

You vote for the one that most allows for people to live lives as free of fear as possible so that there is hope of being able to reason with them, to share a meal, and to not be afraid (including being afraid it will be the last meal).
When you eat a meal, it doesn't mean that in doing so you approve of everything the cook has ever done or will do. It also shouldn't have to be explained to someone old enough to type in complete sentences.

All this himing and hawing though. I think there is a lot there to overturn this but trump should be suing merchan tomorrow for violating his 6th amendment rights in an in a not so subtle way. File it in federal court as a civil rights violation
