If it weren't for Zogby (the worst of the worst), Trump would have an even larger lead. (qualified, as I said, if RFK Jr. and the others hold) Do I think, at the end of the day, Trump will win Washington? Probably not. I think, come election day, a lot of those 3rd party voters will get cold feet. But the fact that the Pacific NW is even in PLAY is all but the death knell for Biden.

It wasn't his idea to shut down the country and keep it shut down. That was advisors, the dept of health, and all related depts. Covid relief was meant to help, but that was just the excuse congress needed to keep racking up debt. It wasn't a conservative congress either, just like Trump isn't really a conservative.

A lot of people want to move on from Trump because of his mouth/twitter, and they don't care to whom they switch as long as they look the part and don't embarrass them. That's a bad move. He's no Saint, but he'd do more for this country than anyone, as evidenced by what he did pre-plandemic. If DeSantis was all that, why has he never gone after the timeshare corruption in his state? Why are there some people and issues he never goes after? Might be a great governor, but I think he's just another Bush, and they sold us out long ago.

I'm looking at it objectively. I was a huge trump fan since the 80s. I posted here very early in his legit campaign saying he had a chance because he was immune to the usual skeleton in the closet tricks which were classic Clinton/old dem politics.
He had a fine presidency but often mired himself in unnecessary social media fights and saying things he didn't need to say. Given the media furor, he has to be more careful and he was the opposite.
Of course the election was stolen but he squandered the critical few days he had to mount a legal contest by letting Rudy lead the charge. It was pathetic and ended predictably in failure. So proving it is over but most people know it even if they don't want to admit it.
This version of trump is much different than the one who won. He's older, much declined, won't avoid political pitfalls, like constant talking about stolen elections or the rigged cases. Undecided people don't like hearing it. Those that do are voting for him anyway. Then add in he lit the fuse for many of today's problems. Biden threw gas on them, but he still isnt in a strong position to argue those points.
Ironically his biggest successes were in foreign policy. He definitely doesn't highlight that nearly enough. He barely does at all.
It was not as good as it should've been for sure. I think a major part of that was the combined feverish attack from the left and right. The left because 1) they knew he was right about covid and showed they were liars and 2) they knew he was the far more formidable opponent in a general and 3) if he won, there would be legit accountability over the covid fraud.
The right because he ran when Trump wanted to run unopposed.

Sooooo long post coming here but I witnessed a rather strange thing at bible study last night ... I should add I attend a 90% black church , for the past 2 years , maybe 3 .. as the study ends the bishop always ask " any questions about the study tonight or the church in general" and the topic of security was brought up by one of the elderly women . FWIW I know that Tina , a 45ish yr old school teacher that stands by the back door packs heat . And another lady and guy watch every move someone makes .. if a stranger comes in acting weird there are a few who observe them very closely . I feel secure as I learned another guy , who is in law enforcement or security also carries . He was there last night and there about every weekend .. BUT .. LOL but after everyone was dismissed the men kinda gathered together up front exchanging ideas about security .. and as we were about done this guy ( who is part of the music production ) says " Well really need to be on the lookout as 2 GOP people said they hate ( or dislike ??) the bible and our state is turned red ( Ohio) and we should be more on the watch " and at that point the Bishop wisely said as he held his hands up " we dont need to get into politics" it was just like a slap in the face as I'm 100% GOP and simply consider this man a Christian brother . Not a democrat , or a black man , just a brother at bible study . Anyone have any idea where he got this " 2 GOPers hate the bible" or maybe he said hate churches ??? He see some TikTok plant or something ? I wanted to ask him but didnt want to cause an issue in church , esp when my BP was rising .
