These exceptions (under the Hyde Amendment) are basically the only way federal or state taxpayers' money fund abortions. According to the Forbes article legalbeagle posted abortions that fall under these exceptions amounts to about 4-5% nationwide.
Now...if your friends have private insurance that covers abortions, then it's possible their private insurance covered it.
Not just that but, many probably have no idea that Soros was behind the Occupy "movement" a few years ago. Many of the activist groups he funds simply change their name when the media offers the slightest bit of interest in how they were formed.
Black Lives Matter is another example of a Soros-funded domestic terrorist organization. Look behind any of these so-called "activist organizations" and you'll see George Soros pulling their strings.

The US Constitution is the supreme law of the land (Article VI) and all our laws derive from it. There is no place for Sharia "law" or any other kind of law but US and state law. Seriously though, if she thinks Sharia law is so great why not promote how great the countries that have it are? And for that matter for those who insist that the US is just a rotten evil raccccccist to the core country, I've yet to hear from them a country that does it right. You know, a country that has roughly the same freedoms, standard of living and so on the US does, but has no history of racism, sexism, or any other -ism whatsoever.

That's a chart on Medicaid. The 1st column...go down to KY - it says "Yes" to Medicaid following the Federal Standard for abortions - which means that the Hyde Amendment applies to KY Medicaid funds in our state. Therefore - no abortions paid by Medicaid unless rape, incest, or life of mother at risk. That's KY law, whether you want to face it or not.

I am in NC. I don't give a damn what the Hyde amendment says. I know what I know. The last eight years has been lawless because Obama DOJ will NOT enforce the law.
That chart may indicate NC has a different law on the books as it relates to Medicaid.
The Hyde amendment prohibits federal funds from being used for abortions and some states (about 25) have basically adopted the Hyde Amendment standard as it relates to using Medicaid funds for abortions....so you should care what it says - it supports what you and many others want. Which is no taxpayer funds for abortions.

That chart by the way indicated North Carolina is just like KY....therefore, in NC Medicaid funds are only used to pay for abortions in the case of rape, incest, or the life of the mother is at risk.

Fair enough. The argument of whether the federal government funds it or not is really wasting arguments, in my opinion. The fundamental issue, and the only one worth discussing, in my mind, is whether or not you think it's a human or life or not. To me, that's the only thing that really matters to me on the issue. I don't feel any better because the government doesn't pay for it, as you have pointed out.
You know... she chose that size (width) of electrical tape for a reason... Think about that.
At least I hope it's electrical tape. If she used duct tape, God bless her water head heart.
