I am very thankful also. My mother lived alone until the age of 95 and went to sleep and did not wake up the next morning. A natural death and she was never in a resting or nursing home one day of her life. At no time in her life did I see a day she could not get out of bed. Until the last.
After dad died she sold her house and moved into a home for the elderly, had her own spacious apartment and cooked and cared for herself. Each day she was required to go downstairs and check in. The day she didn't is the morning they discovered she had passed away.
If someone abused my mother either physically or verbally I would have to restrain myself from killing them. I pray God would hold me back. Respect women and most of all respect motherhood. If you have a good mother, love them and care for them, Especially when they are helpless.

Agree so many calls are subjective but my take on it is throwing the flag/blowing a whistle on a call that isn’t obvious typically has much higher stakes/game impact than just letting it go.
Mistakes will always be made but they’re easier to swallow imo when an official eats the whistle on a ticky tack instead of inserting himself. When the later happens, it either needs to be done all game that way or there will always be those will see it as inconsistent and a bs call.
Officiated HS basketball and soccer and when you let the players play you have to do it the whole game or you open yourself to lots of warranted imo scrutiny by changing it up in the final minutes.

We need reform of our State Universities across America. Private universities can do as they please but tax payers should demand quality education.
MIT has fallen behind a school in India and China in engineering. MIT was the best in the world and it's 3rd now and predicted to fall further. This is another issue that needs to be addressed and stopped. WOKE and ESG investments. The way to stop it is through the Legislative process.

And if you run a business you know without banking you are finished. He couldn't even get a loan, not because of poor credit but because he sells guns. Lucky for him a small local bank stepped in and helped him. But he shouldn't have to beg just because he sells guns.
That will soon end. And no more "Social Credit Scores".
