Dems always do this. They believe they have won every single debate. They think every speech a Democrat gives is beautiful and the gospel. Any speech and debate by Republicans is evil and bad.

That's how this works. It's like talking to a delusional sports fan who can't operate in reality. It's just "my team is awesome 24/7 and your team sucks." You could say the exact same thing their team says and then it's suddenly bad while theirs is good.

I hate both political parties so much. Hate the base of one so much more. I hate the left's collectivism on every single thing, their stupid BS phrasing/buzzwords they're told to repeat over and over. I hate that the right is never on the offense and plays along with the left's stupidity and attacks and gets distracted by all of the left's baiting.

Ttump may be losing votes by the thousands every day. If he doesn't grow up and act like a man and run on his record he will not even win the nomination much less win the Presidency. He probably lost a million votes with his stupid comment last night.

Somebody better grab him and shake him and tell him to knock it off. Republicans are not your enemy Trump. Don't make them your enemy. Trump tried this with Brian Kemp of Georgia and got his nose busted and caused Georgia to lose the Senate.

Joe Biden is our opposition and that should be the focus.

Generally the IRS gets more bang for their buck going after lower income people. EITC fraud is one of the lowest hanging fruits. Easy to find and consistent.

The best and brightest aren’t going to work for the IRS as examiners. And it takes a hell of a lot of time and effort to fight the large dollar grey areas that have attorneys and accountants behind them.

Pursuing criminal tax evasion is a whole nother can of worms that’s going to require multiple federal agencies.


Edit: so in other words, it may actually be a good investment just pursuing the tax fraud and mistakes of the poor.

Sounds like middle class self employed taxpayers filing Schedule C’s are going to have their asses reamed out. It costs a fortune to hire tax professional to assist with audit, even during a “no change” audit.

This. Sane people understand that a politician's job is literally to be the best liar possible. Biden has been perfecting this skill for decades, and he still absolutely sucks at it. Trump's lies are mostly centered around hyperbole, not simply making shit up. You see a bunch of Trump supporters in this thread calling him out when he deserves to be, the same can't be said of Biden supporters.

That is pretty much true. If you have a reputable CPA firm that prepares your taxes the IRS is probably going to go elsewhere to look for buried treasure if one of their red flags pops out. There certainly are mistakes by the taxpayer but a CPA is not going to risk their license or reputation perpetuating a fraud. Plus the CPA firms know where those flags are and where you really do not want to go, risking an audit. If I get audited its my CPA firm that would be the one doing facetime with the agent....not me.

When you as an individual prepare your own return and take "liberties" with your deductions or say you are a waitress that is not claiming your cash tips.... that is a much more productive hole to drill.

Yep. Even if you win, you still lose.

Haven't looked at Florida's proposal for civil penalties but I love the notion of the irs being on the hook for expenses related to any inquiry. The only issue would be they would lie chest and steal even more to try to find some obligation to avoid paying

My personal opinion is I doubt this report is true. United States has a vested interest in keeping Germany and rest of Western Europe open for business.

And the US didn’t have a vested interest in perpetuating eco terrorism to stop Europe from purchasing gas from Russia, then having them conveniently throw their environmental worries out the window so they could quickly build storage tanks and start buying from the US?
