People can go back and listen to the warnings about their intolerance given over a decade ago, some as many as 30 years ago, and see that the warnings were correct. 14 and 20 years ago friends of mine were assaulted by proponents of the lunatic left. Both in public on the streets of Lexington. One physically and the other one nearly turned physical and both started by liberal nut jobs.
Both assailants were stopped by their more even minded liberal friends before they got hurt by the people they assaulted. I don't know if their friends would have the courage or conviction to stop them today. Raving lunacy is not a constitutional right, even if a socialist body tries to grant it.

Edit- As long as you brought up Trump, I'm going to say this. For all the things he did that temporarily helped the US, he did or didn't do a lot that he said he would, and the country has suffered because of it. Had he done all of the things he campaigned on, we wouldn't have the hollow man as our cic. We'd still have an economy. Criminals would be in jail.
Unfortunately it wasn't all up to him, and not all of it could be done without help. But there were things that could have been done and were not, things that should have been done that he wouldn't do. I don't know if things can be fixed at this point

I also believe in Canada that the Bible is 'hate speech'. A minister/pastor/clergy can't preach about homosexuality (Romans 1 among others) from the pulpit without fear of being arrested. Think it's been that way for about 10 years or so.

Show me in any official US document where it says "separation of church and state". Makes no sense even on a fundamental level. That would mean the state has no jurisdiction over churches, including their activities that run contrary to the laws of the land. That is not true. Your pastor cannot legally kill you for diddling children.
It means what it says "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof". They are not going to tell you which religion to follow, and will not prevent you from following the one you want. That's it.
This country was founded on Judeo-Christian principles, hence the word "God" in the documents. You can argue against that fact all you want, being wrong doesn't seem to bother you or slow you down.
You can claim whatever you want but there are no contemporary sources that record Washington saying it. Every written account of his inaugurations gives the stated Constitutional oath with no additions. Regardless it's a moot point as the oath is written in the Constitution without it. You can add 'Suck my farts!' at the end too and it has the same zero significance.

Your stance on a National Christian government is also not what the Founding Fathers intended. That is the reason they left Europe to begin with.
