As a Florida resident I have not seen anything that would make me feel DeSantis is a RINO. He is working with the Florida legislature to ban all Chinese land purchases in the state and get them out of universities. RINOs do not agree with either position.
We would like to hang onto him through 2026 because he is making us the most conservative state in America. One step at a time. He can go in 2028.

IMO the RINO tag is a false narrative thrown out by political enemies, probably on the Democrat side. He governs as conservative as any elected official in America.

There is no changing Trump. He is a lot like Cal in that he thinks his way will win huge/bigly again when in fact it will do the opposite and if you try to tell them different they dig their heels in even further to try and prove you wrong. Trump's policies were great but he is just too toxic now for a General Election and if he somehow won his term would be filled with just more crazy drama and deep state antics that will derail his agenda again.
The reality is any Republican who can win in 2024 and keep the GOP in line once in office has to play the RHINO game. At the point where I think the country is at the point of no return to its past glory and it's all about just getting someone in the Oval Office that can minimize the damage and more importantly keep the Dems far away from the WH as long as possible while keeping the Deep State at bay. Incredibly tall order for anyone as what they did to Trump was a warning shot (outside assassination) to anyone else who wants to take them to task.
