You deserve more time off, not them less. Raise up your fellow workers when they struggle, don’t tear them down. You’re stuck in crab mentality.
The point is many businesses reward loyalty and longevity with more time off. The railroad does this, my dad benefitted from it. What started this argument is the misconception that democrats are saying republicans don't want them to have paid time off. Which is a lie.

There's no scenario where you're the good guys when you're doing this and this is what the left supports.

You're seeing Chinese style response because china is the one controlling these countries. No other explanation.

Demographics is destiny. So, that in addition to complete control of the education system and boom!

Demographics haven't turned out like everyone thought. So imo it's been decades of subtle but effective changes in our education, pop culture, and especially social media

Second, the fact Iran is the bar for you is a pathetic admission. The fact you want pseudo science restricting your liberty is well known here. We disagree.
I never advocated for vaccine or mask mandates, everyone here can attest. I always advocated for making the personal decision to do both out of concern for your fellow American human beings in the midst of a global pandemic. In point of fact I argued for using the political moment of the Dobbs decision and the vaccine mandates for a bipartisan alliance over bodily autonomy rights.
Third, I do admit that PRIVATE BUSINESS may place lawful restrictions on patrons and patrons are free to walk away. (See where you added “government” to my statement to create a lie)
Then let's agree to limit government with rights or laws covering those "liberties". I would prefer those limits extend to the private sector as well if we are to be truly free. Otherwise you're right back in the same boat with losing your job over the vaccine or masks.

This sure aged like a fine wine.

It's all true but I keep coming back to the question I asked her many times - who is behind it? China is just the latest ally of the machine but it's gone on way too long for them to be the originators.

Is it radical islam? Is it some secret group that hates it had no control over America? Who runs it?

The liberty to what? Breathe germs on people in public? Forgive me if I’ve forgotten but you’ll have to point that one out to me in the Constitution. I don’t like “No shoes, no shirt, no service!” signs at restaurants either but until we pass laws or amendments giving us garment autonomy corporate and government powers can dictate you having to cover your pee-pee(and mouth) in public. Don’t like that then advocate for an amendment giving us that right over our clothing. Just like we got all our other rights.

Aha! So you admit there is no constitutional right to an abortion!

Gotcha!

No one is scared of Covid you guys. There’s no medical purpose walking around in your Old Navy mask. No scientific reason for it whatsoever.

Been in healthcare for 25 yrs now, never had to wear a mask except for airborne precautions (N95) in a pt room or surgical mask in active surgical case until 2020 when the “science” changed cause the news said it did. haha.

Everyone knows it’s just virtue signaling, controlling others, and keeping that mail in ballot scheme rolling at this point.

This is a tangent to avoid a ridiculous post.

Not sure what you are asking for here. This is not clear.

Me asking about time-off for another workforce isn't punching down. Not to mention, I already said they should turn 5 days of PTO into sick time, that can be used at will.

But no, we don't need to just hand over a week or two extra of PTO. There are costs to that.

Dare to stick their heads up? Come now, drama Dion. They had a good deal WE were going to to pay for. Now we pay more. Biden lied and then groveled to Congress for another fix.
Are you slow? if government hadn't stepped in the rail companies would have been forced to pay a shitload more to break the strike. This did the exact opposite of what you claim. Rail workers are treated like shit with their on call rules. The rail companies are making obscene profit margins the last decade so they can afford to compensate for the shit job. They had 40% margins last year after agressively cutting their workforce to ridicuously poor levels. They also jacked up prices and have horrible service levels. But customers have no choice because almost all of the US is now megacorp monopolies thanks to the GoP.

the cost for 5 days of paid sick leave for the entire industry was 300 million per year. the industry made over 20billion in profit last year. Definitely cant afford it!

Genuinely some of the stupidest sentiments you'll ever see expressed in your life last couple of years on the Catpaw.

And it's accelerating in its stupidity.
We've been able to watch in real-time our resident Libs descend into cult like trances parroting every mainstream media or government narrative, to the point they've lost all ability to think independently and to look at things objectively.

"yet some of those voters throughout the country, not in Florida, but throughout the country, even though they disapproved of Biden, even though they disapproved of the direction of the country, they still didn't want to vote, you know, for some of our candidates," DeSantis said."

Gee, wonder who those candidates might be?

$300 million is still $300 million.

Instead of giving rail workers well above the average for time off, they should convert some of that PTO to sick time, so they can take care of themselves, family, and also help prevent others from getting sick by spreading a cold or flu.

Either way, my point was that you liberals tried to pass this off as "republicans won't give rail workers any time off!".. no, they HAVE plenty of time off, they just need to adjust how it's used. Instead of just handing them over another week or two of time off.

If they are so important that our entire economy will collapse without them. Then they should have way above average compensation and benefits. Investors will just have to buy a few less yachts.

Can't you say that about a lot of professions?

The owners and management probably figure (and figure correctly), that if the Rail Workers want 6+ weeks of "time off" why haven't they quit to go find that elsewhere? Probably because that sort of time off just doesn't exist in the vast majority of fields.

Again, I'm a tech worker, which is a VERY socially-conscious profession, and even I don't get that much time off.

every black person in the country should move to California asap.

They’ll just tax the whole state billions and launder it through their various bs charities and organizations.

The train to nowhere, billions to the homeless (homelessness worse than ever), gas tax (worst roads in the nation) etc just standard corrupt CA operations.

Does Gavin Newsom really look like a guy who cares about giving money to black people? Haha

Because nobody cares about hunter biden. Just like nobody cares about Jr meeting with the Russians. All of politics, including the Trump family, is dirty as hell. Americans just want to go back to not seeing it all over the news 24/7. If people wanted something different they wouldn't vote the same people into office for 40+ years.
* KA - BOOM *

You are dismissed.

How bout that Kanye eh!!? Lmao. The GoP always attaches themselves to nazi loving pieces of shit.

The GOP has a quandary. Do they go with the Trump-Ye ticket in 2024 or the Trump-Fuentes pairing? A third option, and a wet dream for the Republicans, is for either Ye or Fuentes to jump to being Desantis running mate. #dreamtickets2024

In September, Biden reported a deal that provided a 24% pay increase by 2024, including an immediate 14% raise + $1000 annual bonuses over five years and no increases in co-pays and deductibles. The agreement would bring the average railroad worker’s pay to $110,000 by 2024. That includes six figure incomes for HS graduates. Let’s not pretend that the 4 unions that rejected the deal were not holding us hostage. Go through the workforce and ask how many workers expect a 14% raise this year? A 24% raise by 2024? This is what you call collusion between government and large corporate unions. This is not government rescuing us. It is government shaking hands with the unions under the table.

So Pubs wind up winning House pop vote by 3.0%. That's unusual in last 20 years. Appears a big part of that is low voting in big cities:

"He cites poor urban turnout, particularly in New York City (down 19 percent compared to 2018), Philadelphia (13 percent), Detroit’s Wayne County (15 percent), and Chicago (24 percent)."

So Dims still win those at 70-90% of the vote, just not many. I say that's due to non-citizens disproportionately living in places like that so there aren't as many voters/House district plus people moving to hell out since the Census; i.e., I suspect those places will lose districts to the South come 2030. I hope I live to see it. Someone iffy. Also, Dims hung on in a lot of close races where turnout didn't drop so much.
