Of course the situation has to fit the narrative for it to be pushed in this manner. As already discussed, we’ve had multiple acts of violence resulting in multiple deaths go nearly unmentioned or excuses made.

You’re obviously spot on about the mental illness. The kid spoke about having had lots of time to look for this stuff during the COVID lockdown. There is a danger in speaking in the media about white replacement. There is also a danger in demonizing white people for every ill that befalls minorities. Cosby and Mash are spot on imo. The underlying cause for these types of mass killings is always mental illness. It doesn't matter if they are left or right, white or black, tall or short, young or old, or any other category that we tend to use to identify people. It has nothing to do with guns, knives, bombs, laws, or anything else. It is 100% mental illness that leads to these tragedies. There needs to be a renewed commitment to mental health care in this country. All of the money spent on studies about race, guns, political beliefs, or any other study about he characteristics of these events, needs to be repurposed for mental health studies.
