Noone defense the white supremacists. The point is one gets loads of media coverage and the rest get none. That's undeniable and it isn't an accident.
The party who should really be under fire here is the FBI. A clearly unstable person spent months leaving red flags all over the internet. This is a situation that should've clearly flagged this individual and at the very least resulted in involuntary commitment for evaluation..

He definitely seemed to be white “nationalist” for lack of a better term and had been influenced by the white replacement theory. Did he think whites were superior? I have no idea. That doesn’t mean this incident equates to America has a huge white supremacist movement. Unless you think the Waukesha and Brooklyn tragedies translate to we have a huge Black supremacist problem. Mentally ill people are easily swayed and do crazy things.
Also edited to add. This incident could easily be used as an example of the mental damage done to people especially the young by the COVID lockdowns. But you and I both know no one will do that.

I just think the focus should be on the tragedy itself, which is just unspeakably awful. You on the other hand just want to blame the media, the FBI, and whoever else to deflect attention from where it should be. IMO this thread is consistently a cesspool and this is another example.

I have family members like that and I walk off from them. Can't rationalize with those who get on their 'high horse' to look down upon everyone which they think gives them a right to act unhinged and cover their own moral deficiencies.
