Easy to say that in hindsight after we blew them out, but coming into that game, South Carolina had honestly played better than their record suggested and we were desperate for a win after losing 4 of 5. It made sense to play him if he was feeling up to it.

This. South Carolina was a must win for us and we couldn't take any chances with that. A loss to UT doesn't hurt anything in thr grand scheme of things but a home loss to South Carolina could have been disastrous.

The fact that Pope played Robinson against SCAR was a stupid decision. Downright idiotic.

The fact that Pope put Robinson back in late in the second half when UK was up by 20, when he had already been grimacing and holding his wrist for most of the second half (and while he was on the bench as well) is a fireable offense, in my opinion. Absolutely moronic.

Good news is that we are at home and the role players seem to play better here vs road, the bad news is teams seems to have a good shooting night unlike their season avgs but our D was better against a so so SC team.
