I think that MM is simply counting the numbers. He understands how the leftist media would use a blowtorch to go after Trump with 1-6 to distract the Biden train wreck and their own lunatic fringe who have changed the Dem party for the future. MM understands that he had to publicly express outrage at what happened. You dont have really any GOP leader or conservative leaning pundit who will publicly express support for how that played out. So MM is just the most visible and the "elected" face of the party. He is a pragmatist and frankly the most brilliant tactician that Kentucky has ever produced....and probably as any in the last 100+ years. Trump has THREE SCOTUS picks with a razor thin majority in the Senate. ALL MM. Sometimes you have to say things in public so as to maintain your credibility. MM also knows Kentucky. His fingerprints are all over our state legislature and the supermajorities. He can also cut your throat. Bevin (Odd Duck) biggest mistake was making his first run for office against MM in the primary. He was never going to get the help from MM and his people. The next Gov will be Daniel Cameron if he is not the replacement for MM. Cameron is a MM acolyte.
Quarles is going to be Governor.

Cameron will be Mitch's hand-picked heir to his Senate seat. I would LOVE to see Thomas Massie run for that seat.

He was convicted of obstructing the investigation by destroying evidence. One of the jury members came out and said publicly they convicted him on the evidence, not politics. And the Seth Rich crap is bull. You've been fed a loose assortment of apologia from rightwing media that doesn't hold water when taken in its entirety.
He bought a new phone. He thought all the text would just transfer over.... hes an old boomer. One of the text chains deleted was him arguing with wikileaks and that's what they got him on. Im not being fed shit. I actually read this stuff when it was all coming out. The reason YOUR reasoning fails is because the Russia narrative has been proven false.

You are arguing a narrative from 2017 that has been false. Somehow, in your mind, the fact it fell apart doesn't change the fact that Trump colluded with Russia. You are arguing that Stone was colluding with Russia when people are being indicted right now for lying about the Russia narrative. You need to understand that we aren't having a discussion between us. I am educating you and you are proving your ignorance on this subject.

You can hate Trump and Stone but they didn't collude with Russia. If you want to say that Gen Mike Flynn took $10,000 to give a speech in Russia is proof he was bought then how come Bill Clinton taking $500,000 for a speech isn't proof that he was bought? It was Clinton v Trump so you do the math homey.

Ever heard of Skolkovo? How about Uranium 1? Nordstream2? Weird that all these economic boost to Russia are supported by dems while the narrative is that Trump was bought.

No one takes Dion seriously. Dion is a narcissist. He's never wrong despite being completely wrong. He'll make shit up. He'll take fake news until he becomes the Mary Lou Retton of the Mental Olympics to get his gold medal.
Guess who's there to congratulate him when he "proves" entirely false statement? Dion.

Yeah. By being black. Obama was a milquetoast centrist who did nothing but continue the same uniparty policies of his predecessors. "Hope and Change" was just a slogan. Jade Helm was not an invasion of Texas. The ME got drone striked like the military-industrial complex loves. Everyone who was too big to fail got bailed out. The rich got their kickbacks. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss. But he's black.
BS Look past the melanin content. (Don't be racist)
He was the biggest divider I've seen. Context matters. Soetero had a lapdog media and he still divided the nation (he wanted to "transform America" ... and he did.) Trump has been very divisive, i would agree with, but that is primarily to the media being in the tank for him and supporting his every move, driving the people against him. (okay that last part is sarcasm...)

Yeah, he just happened to delete the evidence of conspiring with a foreign adversary to influence a presidential election by innocent accident. Whoopsie. Hilarious.

OK dumaise. You are saying that when he bought a new phone that he knew that there would about 10 text chains not carry over and one would be with wikileaks and the actual conversation was wikileaks saying they didn't know him or like him but that he did that intentionally to hide it from the fbi.... Why didn't the fbi charge him with destroying evidence?

You are insane. bye bye Rachel.

They charged him with, and convicted him of, the things they could prove in court. Which was lying about and covering up the contacts. He wouldn’t have had to lie and get convicted for his coverup if there was nothing to cover up. He went to jail for keeping his silence to protect Trump. And got rewarded for his loyalty with a pardon from his co-conspirator.

Ok Vaccine fanboys. I have a question.
@sambowieshin @Platinumdrgn @Dionysus444 and you too @vhcat70

You all are all in on the vaccine and religiously follow Fauci and the CDC. My question is this.

What would be your tipping point before you would start to question it yourself? What level of qualifications would the person or entity need to have before you would go. “Yeah, maybe there’s something to that. Maybe I should think twice about this thing”?

You all like to say that well respected and highly regarded sources like the guests Joe Rogan had on are spouting all lies and dangerous misinformation. Then I ask, just how qualified does the person have to be before it’s considered credible? Why is literally ANYTHING that contradicts the CDC considered a lie by you all?

Why do you all put all your eggs in one basket?
Great question and I appreciate the logical manner in which it was asked....
I would say if Fauci is saying one thing but the data coming from the hospitals contridicted him I would seriously start to question him.
I don't put much faith in individuals and tend to look at trends or larger pools of evidence.
As of today, the only thing that Fauci F'd up was the "don't need a mask" position he took at the beginning of the pandemic. I know that he was doing it to preserve PPE for the hospitals but it was most likely a lie to prevent a run on supplies....It undermined confidence in him on everything else going forward imo.

Please elaborate on Rogan’s misinformation. I don’t listen to him, nor do I know anyone personally who does. I vaguely recall hearing that he questioned the efficacy of masks….that’s not exactly gonna get people killed. People have a responsibility to find the truth for themselves, and frankly the Administration (especially Dr Fauci and CDC director Walensky), haven’t exactly been shining stars in guiding us through the pandemic- which in case you haven’t noticed is practically over and moving to the endemic stage.
This is it in a nutshell.....Follow the science @Gassy_Knowles

He didn’t lie though, the DOJ released the memo on election night proving as much. Timing was odd, almost as if they didn’t want it to be noticed.
There’s also the deal where the jury forewoman lied in her jury selection interview and then the judge wouldn’t allow a retrial.
There is literal testimony from the Clinton campaign that they created the Russian narrative on July 28 2016, and the next day, in more testimony, the FBI had a meeting over it. The whole thing was BS, but you just can’t let it go, you were conned, wrong, bamboozled.

Bill and I are on duty 24-7 fighting misinformation! We just disagree on what that misinformation is. 😉

You must have got your crackpipe early from Brandon 🍺

The pussification of America is alive and well unfortunately... all thanks to liberals.
Do you ever spend 5 minutes watching Mother Tucker on Fox? He whines, bitches and moans more every night about BS like MandMs in his whiney azz voice than any woman I've ever known.
Ted Cruz....Bitch McConnell....Lyndsey Graham??? 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Plenty of Puzzy to go around in both parties.

No logic will pierce this cult’s idiocy.

They root for politicians who have become wealthy off of taking bribes from foreign governments and lobbyists. That’s how politicians become rich.

But this group will hate a guy who didn’t need the lobbyist’s wealth and didn’t even take a salary and in fact, his net worth went down. First time that’s ever happened in politics. But Trump was bought? 😂👌

DC got an outsider who didn’t do the typical politician stuff like the little uniparty does and they all went stark raving mad.

Link to that DOJ memo?

I've never been all in on the vaccine. What I have done is argue its effectiveness at keeping you out of the hospital from the original covid, pre-variant. There have always been concerns about duration and safety. Never supported mandates. If you're fat and don't want to die of covid, get it. It's your choice.

i liked your lead in there

I’m honestly not sure i can imagine the point of view that unquestionability trusts and accepts all elements of what’s been (and is) happening

What did he do that was so divisive?

He did have a speech - pretty early on i think - where he very specifically and very unnecessarily (not to mention- divisively) ridiculed and denigrated the text of and excerpted portions of Jesus Christ’s Sermon on the Mount as well as Jewish portions of
scripture from Mosaic Law)

His administration ushered in poorly planned and controversial health care reforms that he and his fellow professional politicians - were exempt from)

His admin’s AG refused to respond to congressional sopoena (sp?) on Gun Running to Mexico with intent to undermine 2A rights) — That AG was censored but not held accountable

He and his administration personally showed open contempt for border patrol members who were disciplined (fired?) for doing their job

and he wasn’t frankly a man or political figure of any sincere merit or substance — I see him as an arrogant traitor who openly sympathizes with Marxist / Communist theory & objectives

I think it’s fair to call his admin divisive - but it’s more of a systemic political rot and malaise than it is anything else.....

Point is - in retrospect - i don’t believe he was THAT much worse than GWB

So i don’t single that admin out as a stand-alone case of divisive & ineffective Govt

Here’s a Popular Science article discussing the first autonomous flight of an Army Blackhawk chopper recently

Our team has also demonstrated linked up and AI driven missile defense batteries (PAC/PAT) -

Neither of these things are classified at that level

Pop-Sci

Not political per se but this is probably the best thread to drop a technology/military type post lm for general discussion

Enjoyed your post except for this, they all have to buy plans on the exchanges now like everyone else. I’m not arguing the overall downstream effects of the Affordable Care Act, that’s for another day, but specifically what you allege here isn’t true. They get juicy subsidies for sure but an amendment to the ACA itself actually made healthcare worse for politicians as they have to purchase from the exchanges now and don’t have access to the sweetheart Federal Employees Health Benefits Program.

@sambowieshin is this the slippery slope you mentioned?

So that means Antifa and BLM fall into that category too right? I mean they fit the description. But somehow I think it’s geared more towards normal, law abiding citizens who just think the Constitution and Bill of Rights are something that should be defended.

that’s cool - thanks for reading and conversating

I’m thinking about taking the material i had generated for the book 📖 was working on (political sciency) and somehow posting portions of this it here for discussion and maybe some crowd sourced input

offhand, does that sound potentially productive or useful to you -

or would that maybe just be messy and likely unfruitful?

ITs a pretty smart thing to tell the athletes. If you go to China and start making political statements you are more than likely going to be disappeared. A lot of the athletes are young and don't understand the trouble they will get in. IF your going to a shithole like china or NK you better understand what your getting yourself into.
