Honestly I don't really give a shit, I'm sure whoever the nominee is will be qualified. Just not a huge fan of the hypocrisy on the issue. If conservatives hate it so much I'm sure you'd be able to direct me to Hannity ranting about Trump's vow or other conservative outlets bitching about Reagan doing it.
Biden called Clarence Thomas a token candidate during the actual hearings. Now he is....a hypocrite.

Trump picked 2 men first. Replaced a woman with a woman.

Merriam Webster definition of a vaccine: " a preparation that is administered (as by injection) to stimulate the body's immune response against a specific infectious agent or disease:"

I think the jabs do that & it's a matter of degree & length of benefit.

You can't have a side effect of doing nothing. Honestly. Now you can risk a damaging result by doing nothing, like not wearing a seat belt. It's not a side effect.
American Heritage Dictionary, 1985. (Aka NOT influenced by politics or big pharma).

Vaccine: 1. A suspension of attenuated or killed microorganisms, as of viruses or bacteria, incapable of inducing severe infection but capable when inoculated of counteracting the unmodified spieces. 2. A vaccine prepared from the cowpox virus and inoculated against smallpox.

You can say a field goal is equal to a touchdown all you want, but it is NOT worth 6 points. Talk about the big lie ...

EDIT: The 2 injections we deal with mostly (since J&J was banned) both state in their fact sheets that you cannot catch COVID from their injections, because the injection does not contain covid. Ergo ... not a vaccine. (NOTE: something is making people sick after the injections, esp the second one ... what is making them sick??)

I hope one day you can stop being such an old stubborn mule.

Does everyone bitching about Biden vowing to nominate a woman of color to the court not remember that Reagan vowed to nominate a woman during his 1980 campaign? So is promising a nomination from a specific demographic only a problem when a Democrat does it?
If you recall, we were all on this message board very upset when it came out in the 80s. I put down my Atari, got distracted a bit by this new TV channel called MTV but then ran on here to talk about it.

What bothered me most back then was that his aide suggested it was a woman. That was too broad. It should be about race and be even more limited to really apply to the smallest possibility that there would be anyone worth a shit fill that role.

Hell Obama nominated 2 justices. Not once considered anyone black. Why? I suppose he knew he had blacks wrapped around his fingertips and didn't need to pander to get their 95% voting bloc.

Hell he nominated someone who had never even been a judge to sit on the highest court.

Dems needed Latinos so he pandered to them.

Now they need to get their black base back on the dem plantation.

Even if they were always going to put a black woman on the supreme court, if they at least vetted other people I'd be fine with it. But the fact that Biden just flat out says "need not apply unless a black woman" should be grounds for dismissal as president. That is against what we are supposed to stand for as a country.
Yep. Just imagine if Trump had something like that. Biden is as disgusting of a person there is, yet MSM whistles past the graveyard with every moronic thing he says.

Any of you get these calls like crazy from some random number?

These aholes set it up to do it like 17 times in a row. Even after being blocked by T-Mobile, I still get a notification sound each time. They need to beat the crap out of these scammers/telemarketers.
I registered my phone here https://www.donotcall.gov/ about two months ago and so far i haven’t had any telemarketer calls.

So they are talking about possibly removing the Ugandan Headhunter Kamala and making her the new Supreme Court Justice.

https://nypost.com/2022/01/26/specu...mala-harris-as-joe-bidens-supreme-court-pick/

Would she actually be fine being demoted from Vice President to a judge? If so then who becomes VP? This looks like it will become another clusterf*ck of a situation by this administration.
Best case scenario. Replace one lib with another on SCOTUS and remove the possibility of that skank whore from being POTUS.

I’m with you. My favorite thing about the Democrat Party is that they’re never exposed as hypocrites on a daily basis. Thankfully. I’m glad they stuck to their principles they established the previous five years and hold Biden to the same standard.

My pronouns are handsome/brilliant

Political theater is stupid. But it's hardly the largest of our current problems and as you so accurately point out, definitely not unique to one side.

got some links to prove your claims? Show me photographs of the actual manuscripts while you're at it. How old are the manuscripts? Are they even within 500 years of the dates they were written?
The laws of the Torah and the laws of the Sumerians, Assyrians, and other ancient people all contain punishment for criminal and civil laws that are universal in nature. If anything they show an ingrained knowledge “common grace” in man that some things are wrong “sinful” and deserve justice. Mosaic law is easily the most comprehensive and unique. Claiming the New Testament was “made up” by the Romans is laughable though. The last thing the Romans wanted was a Jewish Messiah that could cause disruptions to their system. The claim comes from people who say Constantine compiled the Bible at the council of Nicea. The council was created because of conflict due to the rise of Arianism and the early Christians fight against it. Long before Constantine there were 21 writings accepted and passed down by early Christians, including the Gospels. I guess you could make the case that the letters of Paul were created by Romans since he held Roman citizenship. The Canon wasn’t compiled until 60 years after Constantine’s death and come from writings that have been dated to the time period, some within 30 years of Jesus actual life. Sorry for the book.

Mr Bible genius gonna out math evolution!
Actually, yes.

Show us ONE naturally occurring example of evolution that is NOT microevolution (variation within a spieces).

And explain why a new monkey does not turn into a human every single day? It only happened once? And convieniently no one was around to observe it?

Are you also going to postulate that we ALL came from a rock?? Well, okay ...

Quoting you and a question. Anyone feel free to chip in. The history of religion is extremely interesting.

If I were to go to my library and look for some interesting reads what would I look for?

That is a VERY accurate description of VH.

Dude is just locked onto TDS, and Pfizer propaganda.

It's really bizarre.

the crusades, the salem witch trials, the scientific purges(still happening), the billions of forced marriages of kids(still happening), the treatment of women as slaves to men(still happening), the eradication of south america, the eradication of indians, and on and on and on and on. yea, those Christians sure to do have a history of tolerance! ! !
Salem Witch trials.... You should again.... study history. While this was a horrible event in America it was worse in Europe. Because our Christian leaders went to the Gov and demanded free and fair trials the Salem Witch trials were about 1/4 of the time as Europe's. Now look at those type of purges world wide and it isn't Christian good atheist bad.... People do fcked up shit. Christians, on whole, have done far more good than evil in the world.

During the Indonesia tsunami, Christian groups from the USA, actually gave more $ than 98% of the countries in the world. If you only look at the negative and avoid the positives then you are a bigot.

They're all ancient near east legal codes that influenced each other over time. They show a common societal history. The Torah was one among many in a long tradition. That area was the heart of human civilization going back thousands of years, even before the advent of agriculture and large settled communities. Gobekli Tepe is older than 9000 BCE.

Excuse me?
The distinctions between Biblical Christianity and Catholicism are vast and irreconcilable.

1. The Mass as a continuing perpetual sacrifice of Jesus is unBiblical (John 19:30, Hebrews 9:25-28, Rev 1:18)...And the heresy of "receiving Christ" through "Holy Communion," believing that a priest has the POWER to yank the Lord Jesus Christ out of heaven and put him into a wafer (Transubstantiation)
2. Works added to faith for salvation is not Biblical (Ephesians 2:8-10, Titus 3:5-8, Galations 2:16, Romans 4:4-5)
3. Infant Baptism: From John the Baptist through the book of Acts, only believers are baptized, no exception.
4. Peter as the first 'pope,' the 'rock' on which Christ allegedly established his church: Acts 4:8-12, 1 Peter 2:6-9, Deut 32:3-4, Ps 18:1-2, 1 Cor 3:11. (The 'rock' in Matt 16:18 is found in v 16b - it's the proclamation that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God)
5. Priests vs. priesthood of the believer: 1 Peter 2:9, Rev 1:6, Heb 7:25, Heb 4:14-16

Additionally, Catholics pray to idols and to Mary, and the Bible is explicit about whom to pray to: God alone. Furthermore, prayer for the dead borders dangerously close to necromancy (see Revelation 22:8-9)

I never see Catholics caring enough about others to actually share something about their faith. But in the Bible, Jesus says an amazing thing..."Go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature." And..."I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

The official Catholic position, proclaimed by all the popes for the last 1,000 years, is that salvation is found only in the Catholic church, through the sacraments, by the priests, under the cardinals and pope.

But the Bible says that salvation is only in Jesus Christ. The apostle Peter said... "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven, given among men, whereby we must be saved."

Saved from what? Judgment is coming - for you and me - and Jesus preached that most people are on their way to hell...the broad road to destruction. And that the road to life and heaven is narrow and few find it.

It’s best to look for books relative to particular religions. They’re much more comprehensive. Older books are better for me because I get kind of frustrated reading through newer books about Mesopotamia and Sumer. You get the ancient alien guys like Josh Free involved. As far as Christianity goes, Earl Cairns “Christianity through the Centuries” is good but reads like a textbook. Robert Winn has “Christianity in the Roman Empire”. It’s a good read. I’ll have to go through my library and see what I can find. I’m finishing another degree certification right now so my time has been limited to read.

Elaborate? Or post a link to whoever's theory this is so we can read for ourselves.
Do you understand exponents? I asked you that earlier and you dodged.

But the simple truth is, and there is math behind it, that the molecules crucial to life are so enormously complex that it is impossible for them to arise by chance. A single simple protein molecule could not have formed even in the “billions of years” evolutionists claim are available.
