That is 100% true, however, coronavirus travels on aerosols that are too small for the mask. You breath those in, enough of them over time, and you will get sick commensurate to your health factors, previous exposure and vaccination status.
The larger molecules, ones a mask can actually stop, are going to drop out of the air due to gravity well before your 6 feet of social distance anyway. If everyone is in a room, and you spend a lot of time in that room without ventilation/circulation, you all are exhaling and inhaling the same volume of aerosolized air vapor that suspends in the air. You are going to be sick with the only factors being are you closer to the source, or is there something like an air current drawing the air towards you, and not all people exhale the same amount of air water vapor so maybe you get unlucky and the person is a super spreader.
Your mask will do nothing at all but make you feel good, feel safe. There is no safe if you are indoors. They know good and damn well that masks don't actually do anything for asymptomatic people. They just hope it might do some good stopping symptomatic people who are walking around who won't even sneeze into their elbow. Anybody who is sick needs to stay home.

Let's see, Republican states cut extended unemployment and people are returning to previous jobs. I would hardly call that adding jobs.
What kind of masks are they?
Are they being worn properly?
Are they clean (as in, just removed from the packaging and put on for the first time)?
Were they put on by someone with clean hands/sterile gloves?
(oh, does anyone in the room actually have covid or exhibiting symptoms?)
All of those things are highly relevant, and even then, there are more questions.
I brought this up in the Olympics 2 thread and got 0 input. Except I pointed it out in the swimming version.
The men who started first had like at least a 3 second lead over the women after the first lap. When most races finish with almost all of the field within a second or two of each other that shows you how big 3 seconds is. Our last swimmer started with about an 8 seconds deficit. He made up 5 of those seconds going against women.
So the people who actually change from a man to a woman, they likely do it just to feel better about themselves because they can dominate a bunch of real women. They are mentally ill as are the people who support them doing it.
At what point did mental illness become such a huge deal in this country? I'm guessing when big tech gave everyone a voice and the sick individuals could support each other.

It will catch a cough or a sneeze droplets but not so much the size in normal breathing. Plus the mask itself will be full of particles so if you touch it to adjust it and then touch something else you’ve spread it all anyways. Which is why it’s always been suggested from the beginning that people with symptoms should wear them. If you’re hacking and coughing then by all means wear one. My thing is cases went up when mandates were ordered. Once they started dropping, they continued to drop after mandates were removed. They’ve only went up when new variants came out or when large groups of people got together masked or not. Just my two cents.

He's not wrong. Just type vaccines cause mutations in your search bar and there's plenty of research available on the subject. I remember when the talk started of antibacterial soap making germs more resistant.
So it makes perfect sense that a vaccine that fights something can possibly cause it to be more resilient or even cause it to mutate. That's a lot more likely I would think then someone who is just naturally fighting it with their immune system.

Talking about the defiance over the Governor's mask mandate and what needs to be done to get people wearing masks for the Kentucky State Fair. Glad to see a lot of people not going to go along with it this time after what the Governor put the state through the last year.
